This is my first post, so hopefully I am doing this right.

My name is Michelle, I am 26 years old, I have a DH (Robert), and a DD (Alexia) who is three, and this will be her first time to the world.princess:

I have had so much fun planning this trip and can hardly wait untill we are on our way. We live in Panama City, FL so it only a 6 to 7 hour drive! However, we have not traveled that far with DD. DH is not a huge fan of WDW and thinks that I have went off the deep end with all the planning. So this is just going to be a girls trip. ME, DD, and DGM!:dance3:

We are going to be in Orland for Seven Days, one night off property and 6 nights at the ASMo. I have requsted the Dalmations buliding, DD loves them!

Wow! You really have it planned out. I think that is the best way to go though. My DW planned out our last trip to WDW and it was wonderful. She planned in down days to and they were a real blessing.
Have fun!

Looks great. Just take it easy and enjoy the unexpected. We will be there the same time. We count down every day.

Thanks, I am really going to try not to push ourselves to hard. If we miss something that gives us another reason to plan another trip.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time.

Yeah! it is offical we are two weeks from the MAGIC!

I have printed the "Disney World Vacation Ultimate Packing List" which is very helpful. I plan on going this weekend and finish up my shopping:yay:

Any suggestions on what to bring to keep DD-3 busy for our 6 hour drive??

It would be nice to have a portable DVD player. You could introduce her to some of the characters she will be seeing by watching movies. That way she won't be so suprised.

We also play kids music and sing, be forwarded though it can drive an adult crazy.

Hopefully it will be during nap time. You may find she sleep longer on the long ride.

Just remember it will take longer since she wont be able to drive straight through, unless you plan on driving at night when she would be asleep.

good luck

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about a portable DVD player. I am going to try and find one on sale before we go!

We are leaving about 5:00am, so I am hoping DD-3 sleeps for a few hours.

Wow, less than two weeks for you! I am jealous!
Thanks, I am so excited. I have tried not to think or talk about WDW to much today, hoping that will make the time go by faster, but it did not help. But we are inside the two week mark so hopefully it will be down hill from here!

We are nine days away:rotfl: I am so excited:banana: DD3 gets excited when Mommy starts jumping up and down yelling "we're going to disney!" She thinks it is going to be like the county fair that just left town, I try to explain how big Disney really is, and it just blows right past her. I cannot wait to see the expressions on her face.

Well, I did not get a lot of packing done over the weekend, DD and I were a little under the weather. Better now, than in a week. :thumbsup2
