i recently found out we may not be going to disney in the near future, so i would like to buy a good book to keep myself occupied while i wait for my next trip. i want a book about hidden mickeys, or maybe a trip planning book, any sugestions would be great. also, i want a book that is updated, i am still reading my 2003 book LOL thanks alot!

I have "Hidden Mickeys - A field guide to Walt Disney World's best kept Secrets" By Steven M. Barrett.
It's really cool! Also I love the Unofficial Guide and my Passporter!
Have fun planning!!!!

2006 Unofficial Guide is the best! Entertaining & informative. One of the writers, Len Testa, is a member of our group. Have fun planning your trip.

::MickeyMo I recently saw a new book in Barnes and Nobles. It's called the Imagineers Guide to the Magic Kingdom (or something to that effect). It's really awesome. It's all about "setting the show" and details, effects, and all the special things that Imagineers do/did for the Magic Kingdom. Why the sidewalks are red, what made them design a building a certain way, everything. It goes through the different lands. It's a really interesting read. ::MinnieMo

Hi folks!

Metsfan11, a couple of books you might find interesting:

Lou Mongello's Walt Disney World Trivial Book. Chock full of interesting facts about everyone's favorite vacation destination.

Steven Barrett's Hidden Mickey's book is also the definitive guide to tri-circle sightings in WDW.

I also enjoy the Imagineer's Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom. Colorful. Easy to carry. Interesting perspective, too. Haven't finished this one.

Sincerely,

Len

I loved the Imagineers Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom!!!! And be sure to get the second edition of the Hidden Mickeys book - it includes the new Mickeys.
