:headache: Anyone joined this book club?
I placed an order with them 3 weeks ago and got worried since I hadn't recieved any books yet and they charged my credit card the same day I ordered. I called customer service and they have no record of my order! :scared1:
I know they aren't run by Disney, I'm just a bit peeved about the customer servic e and response I got from the CS person on the phone. He acted like I was lying, then told me they'd need my credit card number to find the order. If it wasn't found under my name, address or phone number, what good will my CC number do them?
I refused to give it and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He said he couldn't find her, took my phone number and said he'd have someone call me back!
I'm so irritated at the moment! :mad:

Sorry, needed to vent and my DS5 wouldn't understand I don't think.
He was so excited about getting these books. :sad2:
 
I've ordered the Disney book club through them. I get a call from them about every three months or so asking me to join another club :headache: . Scholastic is a pain!

If your credit card has been charged, I would call the cc company and explain everything to them. They are great about taking care of problems. On your cc statement, there will be a number, they could call it with you on the line, I believe. When a furniture store nearby went out of business (we had paid in full...), I called the cc co, and she dialed the business phone, then refunded my entire amount.

I did it for DB and had no problems. We were members for about 9 mo with books about every 4 weeks but the last shipment were not disney stories but disney friends and we had gotten most of the good ones so i just stopped it. Sorry about your issues.
 
Wow, I've always had wonderful experiences with Scholastic's customer service. I work for a school, I wonder if they have different people working on the school end of customer service.
 

Finally got a call back this morning. Not from a supervisor but the same man I had talked to yesterday.
They finally found me, but the order had never been processed, so they were rushing it thru processing and it will be over-nighted to me on Monday, so I should have it Tuesday. The man also said he would call me on Monday once it shipd and again on Tuesday evening to make sure I had recieved it. They're also throwing an extra book in for free.
They said they didn't understand how it happened, maybe because it was placed online, they really had no idea.
So, I'm glad they fixed the problem, just kind of wondering why I didn't ever get an "I'm or We're Sorry for the inconvience."
Oh well, at least DS will get his books.
