The official Disney Blog just posted a wonderful list of romantic ways to propose. Some of these proposal ideas are staples to any girl's wish list, and a few of the ideas are brand new.

My fiance proposed in front of Cinderella Castle after the Dream Along with Mickey stage show. If you are both Disney fans, you cannot go wrong with these Top 10 ideas or a creative idea that you've customize to fit your relationship.

Good luck! :wizard:

My favorite is the Animal Kingdom Sweetheart Safari. I think my boyfriend would enjoy it too because we love animals and he's from Africa. :rotfl2:... it will remind him of home. (I hope no one takes offense to this statement)

I agree its typical all of them cost lots of money but on top of it these take away the fun of planning the special moment yourself.

Wow,
Those are amazing recommendations.

x2. I will be proposing down there in a only a few weeks (check the ticker in sig). I had to call countless people to make my plan work, preplan takes all the fun out of it (and accompanying headaches).

Atleast mine made #10. Otherwise Katy would be disappointed when she sees this. Save $ for a DFTW.

MY DH proposed at Disney. It didn't cost anything (other than a ring). It was memorable. It was uniquely us. And it was something he came up with on his own as opposed to what Disney marketing suggests you need to do to have the most amazing proposal ever.

That is what matters. This is just another way for Disney (a business, one we all love but a business nonetheless) to try and make more money off the wedding industry. I agree with whoever said to save for the wedding so you don't have to go into debt for a wedding. Don't feel bad of you can't afford these options. I am sure whatever you come up with will be perfect for her!

PS- I feel it is more important aout WHAT you say than about WHERE you say it :)

My DBF proposed to during the finale of Wishes in front of Cinderella's castle. He knows that I love Wishes (well, fireworks in general) and it would be special. Simple, romatic and didn't cost anything. The amazing part of it we were pretty close to the castle and it wasn't crowd. Pure luck because the rest of the trip it was so crowded.
