Disney Birthday Party for 6 Year Old- Please Help!

Hello! I am planning a birthday party for my six year old brother, and I think a Disney themed one would be great. We were planning to get everyone dressed up as their favourite Disney character. But looking online, I can only see Mickey Mouse clubhouse party plates, cups, etc. My brother thinks this is babyish. We just want normal Mickey and Co. plates. We aren't theming it on specifically Mickey Mouse, but the whole of Disney. Are there any places that sell normal Mickey plates? And any ideas for the party, and how we can make it good value for us?

You could use red and black plates, cups, napkins, etc.

or you could buy red plates and napkins etc and buy a mickey head paper punch and make black punches to sprinkle on the table.

Walmart carriers a Mickey Mouse party supply line that is not babyish. It also comes in Minnie Mouse. We used these for my DD6 bday party last year. I bought both Minnie and Mickey (mixed them). I bought the plastic cups that matched and filled them with candy as party favors. It was really cute and not expensive at all.

Party guests? If my six year old got a birthday party invitation that said he is supposed to come dressed up as a Disney Character, he probably wouldn't go to the party because I'm just not going to go out and spend a bunch of money to dress him up like that. Now a Halloween theme costume party near Halloween, we'd already have a costume, so that would be different.

For the plates and stuff, I would go with solid color ones and use other decorations in the Disney Theme. Like some posters, stuffed animals, balloons, etc.
