DOes anyone in the Toronto area know where I can get Disney Themed cakes? We bought a Sponge Bob cake last year from Metro and I wasn't too thrilled with the quality. ANy suggestions?
We have used both baked with joy and cakes by robert for custom cakes. Both are nut free and excellent quality, not to mention very yummy! Both are more expensive than a grocery store cake but very worth it.
Loblaws also sells Disney themed cakes. There something you need or order rather than just walk in and buy. If you go to the bakery and ask to take a look at there cake catalogue they usually have 2-3 designs for different Disney cakes. You can also choose your flavour and icing and what not.

Another vote for Cakes by Robert. We buy all the kids cakes from there. They are on Doncaster - the Yonge and Steeles area. Here's their website where you can see examples of some of the cakes they have made. http://www.cakesbyrobert.com/
