Disney Bathing Suit Sizes?

The Disney site has a sale on the bathing suits, and I was wondering, do they run small/large, any other significant comments people have about them?

(This is in regards to the women's suits... the halters with the little Mickeys on them)

I wasn't sure where exactly people would know the best, so sorry if this is in the wrong place. Is it more a Budget Board question, since it's a sale item?


10$ is a great price, so I don't want to pass this up!

I'm interested to know as well. I know a couple of years ago, the sizes ran really large.

I have bought several suits from Disney shopping. I think they run big. I ordered a 16 one year and had to keep shipping it back. The size 10 finally fit. I am in NO way a size 10! I do not have the one you are talking about, but in general buy a size smaller then you would normally take.

They no longer run big at all. I bought 2 bathing suits from them this year and let's just say that if I wore the halter top it would not be family friendly at all. I have to exchange them and hope they make the top part bigger on the next size.
I also ordered a few for my kids and they ran so super small as well.

Last year We ordered my sister one in a size 14 and it was more like a size 18. BUT my size 12 fit me perfectly. so I guess it just depends on the style.... I got a halter....

i bought a suit last year and it was like 4 sizes too big - i think i gave it to a friend - beause since it was on sale - it owuld have cost too much to send it back

It must depend on the style because the Tinkerbell tankini with the skirt most definitely runs large. (like 2-3 sizes large)

Alright, well, since there are 3 females in my family (and one of them is going to grow to about 6 feet tall... and she's my little sister... grrr), we ordered some of each size 6-14, so that we can fit in them now, and then she can grow into them... we'll have enough bathing suits to last us for a lifetime now. And they were so cheap! This way, we'll be covered both ways, if they run big or small.

Has anybody gotten the 1 piece Mickey Mouse Swimsuit for Her that's currently on sale? How does it fit through the torso and bust? How is it for support?
