disney basket for fund raiser

Our church is doing a fund raiser for a wonderful little boy that attends our church and has MD. Each group is doing a basket to donate and my circle is doing a Disney Basket. Of course I offerend to get the stuff. My goal is to appeal to a wide range of ages and keep it between 50.00-75.00. I thought a clasic Disney DVD to start and things like pens,note pads. Any ideas that you guys might have would be great!!!

If you have Disney store near you I would go and see what they had on sale. Sometimes you can get same great buys. Dollar tree usually has Disney notepads, erasers, pencil etc. Good luck.

You can find Disney Princess notepad and address books for $1 each. The new Disney Princess Sing A Long DVD just came out. You can find wands, crowns and things pretty cheap at big lots. The Dollar Tree has princess learning books, like writing and numbers, they also have purses with jacks, princess chalk and things like that. Hope this gives you some ideas.

If you do have a Disney store in your area, don't be afraid to ask for the manager and tell him/her what you are doing. Many companies are more than prepared to help out with local fundraisers especially if it is not a monetary donation that is being sought.

Thanks for the great ideas!!! The child can no longer walk at all and their home though quite new and nice has doors that are too small for the wheel chair. Major money for major remodeling!

going on your theme for classic Disney:

The Love Bug (On dvd at Walmart)or Absent Minded Professor....the "classics"
one of the older soundtracks or collections...we have Disney Classics and The Sherman Brothers....I know there was another one released recently.
Disney mugs for hot chocolate
disney snacks...I have seen animal crackers, gummies etc with a disney theme.
Popcorn

and you have a night at the movies courtesy of Disney

You could also do a basket of the classic and it's remake (Parent trap & Freaky Friday come to mind!!)

Well, i just returned from 4 hours of Disney shopping. I really wanted clasic disney and not too age restrictive. I found Princess Disney EVERYWHERE. After about 10 stores I ended us with a Mickey clasic cartoon DVD, a stuffed Mickey Mouse, thank-you cards, A Disney scrabble game, a Disney Clasic STory book, and a few other small items.
It really was fun but tough to find the clasic stuff. Nemo, pooh, princess, etc everywhere!
