Disney Ban for Life

What if you are banned for life then an alien pod lands outside your house, and an alien overtakes your body using it as a vessel. Would that alien then also be banned for life from Disney?

"It was like something was wearing Edgar. Like a suit. An Edgar suit.":lmao:

1) Wrong again, Rusty.
2) Why do you insist on making me correct you day after day?
3) Apart from having to change your name to make any reservations for dining or at resorts...
4) Turnstyles read your fingerprint, which can be red-flagged in the system, and never allow that person back in.
5) So, unless the person wants cosmetic surgery, they're not getting back in.
6) Here endeth the lesson.

My bolding.

May I ask for your source? Your post implies a chain of events that seems highly unlikely.

When I enter, my fingerprint is read, according to you. Then, if I were to behave in a fashion that demands my being banned, security would have to fingerprint me, and compare them to the one "in the system", and then "red-flag" my prints, that were scanned earlier in the day.

There's no way, from just looking at me, that security would be able to match me with the prints that was scanned earlier, allowing me in. They'd have to know which prints, among all the thousands scanned that day, belong to the person standing in the security office.

Frankly, what you say must be impossible. Convince me that I'm wrong.

Bottom line: A guest cannot buy or sell Disney pins to another guest on Disney property. He had been doing this for years.

1) Sounds almost like scalping pins, which means cheating other guests.
2) If so, he/she deserves banishment.

I know someone who was banned from Disney parks worldwide. He was a big pin seller on eBay and used various unscrupulous tactics to get guests to buys pins for him at WDW, DLR, DLRP, TDR and I think Hong Kong.

Bottom line: A guest cannot buy or sell Disney pins to another guest on Disney property.

just pins??

I would think it would be like many places of business. If the owner/manager states that you are banned or basically places a "no trespass" on someone, and they get caught at that location again, they can be arrested for trespassing. (This happens where I work) Of course you have to catch them, but then you have more against them to use for an arrest. I think if WDW banned someone and they came back, they would be on their best behavior so not to get caught.;)

1) I don't think you will get a reply.
2) But, I would like to see the sources.

I had to go and buy a one day ticket when I was in Orlando for business. You could probably just do that and pay cash. Nobody would know.

I don't know what Disney does, but am familiar with the data mining side. Should they wish to, they could easily detect an individual's reappearing through identity headers on credit transactions and credit master files. You'd definitely need to create an identity that doesn't tie to yourself if you wished to use a credit card to book anything or execute a transaction without being found. Obviously, you could purchase in cash or borrow a card, but most people who manage to get thrown out of Disney for life don't strike me as folks who are going to think these things through.

The only other observation I'd make is that the Federal Government consulted with Disney after 9/11 to figure out how to secure tourist sites. I suspect they have many ways to find an identified individual on their property should they deem it important.

I agree.

I'm pretty sure the family who pulled Tiggers tail are banned for life, as well as the group of guys who swam from River Country to Discovery Island last year.

After my last visit (Sept 2009) I found that while I was sleeping at Pop Century they implanted an RFID chip in my right buttock. If I am ever banned from WDW and try to return, all they have to do pass a wand over my backside to detect my prior transgression.

Let's say a very close friend or relative of yours was banned for life and wanted to go back, would you let them in with your party?

Curious about this punishment. Suppose they ban someone for life, if that person was deadset on returning couldn't they just change their name and return?

It would be very hard for them to catch a person, but the thing to remember... If you are banned, then re-entering Disney is illegal as its trespassing. The person would be arrested. Repeated violations could result in harsher penalties although what it would take and what those penalties are, I don't know. There may also be a course of action for the company through civil litigation, which could potentially bankrupt a person if Disney really wanted to push the issues... win or lose.

So the banned person would have to keep their nose clean as another incident such as the one they were banned for, would result in arrest as I said earlier.

Banned from a casino. It happens when people are caught card counting. The "eye in the sky" might recognize you.

Card counting or cheating with devices, etc. The interesting thing is Card Counting SHOULDN'T be a bannable offense.... its not cheating (provided no electronic device is used), but superior play ability. In fact, while cheating at a casino is a felony offense in Nevada, you can't be arrested for card counting.

However, since Casinos are private businesses, they utilize their right to refuse service to customers, hence how they ban Card Counters. It really is a ridiculous notion and should be illegal, IMHO, but one that won't change anytime soon.

And, BTW, if a person who is staying on Disney property is banned, they are escorted to their room and given one hour to pack and leave property.

So... you're saying, I... I mean... the person... would not have to wait for the bus back to my, uh, their resort after Wishes? :scratchin

:rotfl:

And from what I saw on a documentary, once you are banned from one casino, you are on a big watch list on all the others. They really don't want any card counters in any. They might escort you out at their discretion. They are able to see through disguises too from what I understand. Very creepy.

Most will let card counters in to the casino to play... just not blackjack. So a cardcounter could go play Craps for example.

I agree with this.

Suppose you're caught card counting. Do you think going to jail is the worst possible outcome? I guarantee that worse things could happen to you.
