I bought my daughter a Disney My First Princess Ballerina Studio at Big Lots. She loves ballerina stuff and princesses, so it was a no brainer. I thought. The box said it comes with Cinderella, and other dolls can be purchased. BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY OTHER DOLLS except on Ebay, and they're going for upwards of $30 each! Help!!! Any ideas or other places to look?

Thank you!

Cindi

I don't know where else you might look, but if you can wait until after Christmas, the prices of most things on Ebay come way down! :goodvibes Good Luck!

I just sold two of these on ebay: Cindy & Mulan. I wish you would have posted a couple weeks ago before I sold them!

GOOD LUCK!

Bummer! :( I had no idea they would be so hard to come by -- there were TONS of the ballet studios for sale. I'll keep looking, and hopefully someone else will have some more ideas!

I'm going by my Big lots today, I'll write this down. How much do you want to spend on the dolls?

I have no idea what they went for originally. I guess I'd pay $8-$10 per unless you can get them in a group. I'd only want two or three, though. Thank you so much for your help!!!

Alcoromom, I'll check them out, too.

I appreciate it, everyone!

Try www.johnnystoys.com and call the greenhills store and see if they have any and will ship. This is a local store here that tends to have many of the older toys.

Just called them, and they don't have any. :( Thanks for trying, though!!! :wizard:

I think I saw these at our Big Lots....are they large or small?

They were sold at the Disney Store and original price marked on the doll package is $19.50. I seem to remember paying around $15 for mine on sale.

Hope you find one.

I believe the OP is speaking of the Fisher Price My First Ballerina Studio.

DD, now 3, got it from Santa last Christmas. It took a lot of searching to find the princesses. I had heard early on that they were going to be hard to find so I grab them as I saw them.

Most I got at Walmart in a very odd toy area - not where you would think. I finally found Jasmine(the hardest to find) at Kohls on clearance.

I am sorry that you are having a hard time finding the Princesses. I think the toy must not have been that much of a hit, because I do not see it advertised anywhere and for it to be at Big Lots already. I made close to $40 for the dance studio alone. The ballerinas were $5-6 if I remember correctly.

Good luck on finding them. My DD still plays with this toy daily.

After a search on google it seems that most stores are not even selling this toy anymore.

Maybe try KBToys outlet. I'll look around my Big Lots to see if they have any.

I cannot believe a set of 5 ballerinas is going for $115. :earseek:

Four of them are going for $179 on Ebay!

Tonight I saw an ad for the orginal dolls for $4.99 each, but it was in a Fisher-Price ad in 2004. They are small, about 4" each, I think.

Anyone have a Just Closeouts store by them? We don't have them down here in my area of Florida, and I can't look at anything online. Big Lots doesn't sell online, either. Can you tell I'm desperate? :rotfl2:

I got mine at Target last year. There is a different Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Ariel and Jasmine. I also found Jasmine at Kohls. I remember finding the other little dolls like this (not the ballerinas) at Big Lots a year after they quit carrying them at Target. I finally found Jasmine and Mulan at Big Lots. Maybe the ballerinas will show up there. Actually, now that I think about it, I found Mulan at Disney World.
Have you tried e-mailing Fisher-Price?
