Hi everybody!!! I have been going to Disney since I was 3 months old, my father use to run the OLD Disney's Group travel Program for the entire Philadelphia Police Department, so every year we went to Disney World!! Nice childhood huh? I have always checked out the boards, but never had a reason to post! I do now. I have my own family and a 9 week old soon to be Disney son... My question is.... I will be going to WDW in November, is there any ride restrictions for my little guy? Obviuosly, the rollar coatsers... :scared1:But I mean, small small world... Peter pan.. haunted manion.. great movie ride.. those types...:confused3 Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

I could be wrong, but I think it's part of a brochure from WDW aimed at the really little ones... I picked a brochure up for my sister 2 years ago when we were all going and my niece was 2yo - I think that's what it was called.

I found that info on Disney's website under travel with little ones, I believe. But it looks like those might be the only rides you will not be able to take your little one on. I think anything without a height requirement should be OK!

We took my son for the first time when he was 5 months old. Anything that doesnt have a height req. to go on he can go on. We have a baby bjorn and put him in that for most rides ( pirates ect) where we were a bit worried and he slept through everything.

We just took DD when she was 9 weeks old this past August (DS's first trip was when he was 3 months old). Any ride that doesn't have a height requirement she was able to go on with us. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back in October!:goodvibes

I took Max at 6 weeks and he rode most everything. Obviously, no roller coasters, but he rode all the rides you mentioned.

We brought our DS at 12 weeks- he really loved the music and the lights; we rode POTC, most of fantasyland; we did skip the safari until he was older, I think it wasn't until his 3rd trip around 8 months that we did that....I loved the baby care centers! We're hoping he's tall enough for his 1st coaster, the barnstormer, next month!:cool1:

Hi Wolfer :)

It's been a while since I've posted here, and since the last time I posted my wife and I had our first baby (girl!) (back in February). Obviously one of the main things we've been excited about was taking her to Disney... which we did for the first time this past Friday. :cool1: I was browsing the board tonight and I thought I would chime in.

We went to Magic Kingdom and we were able to take our girl on a bunch of stuff! It was a great time! We didn't go on everything but we did do Snow White, Winnie the Pooh, Small World, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, the Monsters, Inc. show (forgot what it's called, sorry). Everything went great and she really seemed like she enjoyed it! I think she liked the Monsters, Inc. show the best for some reason, she was giggling and "jumping" up and down (while I held her) the whole time. :lovestruc

Make sure you check out the Baby Center (it's near the front of the park sort of), it's VERY nice and VERY helpful. We were able to change her in there easily, and my wife went into the breastfeeding room two different times during the day (she said that the rooms are really nice and quiet, rocking chairs, etc.). They also have a little store in there with various things in case you forget something (diapers, wipes, medicine, pacifiers, etc.).

HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!!!!

I've been taking my oldest (she will be 6 next month) since she was 7 months old. She was able to go on all the rides that didn't have height restrictions and boy did we do them all! She loved It's a Small World. I can only assume it was all the colors, dolls and happy music. While she does not remember any of it, I have the memories from those early trips and pictures that will last forever. I carried her most of the time in a hip carrier and took her on the rides while she was in it. It made me feel more secure that she was strapped onto me. It was also great because she had no problems falling asleep in it so I didn't have to worry about either waking her to go on rides or needing to walkaround for a few hours until she woke up so that we could go on rides.

The baby care centers are fabulous. I'll be making good use of them on my upcoming trip as my youngest will be going on her first trip at 15 months.

Have a wonderful time!
