Hi all!

I don't post much on the Community Board, but read it quite often.

I'm wondering if any parents have out there have given their children Disney-esque names? Ok, I know some of you have but would you be willing to share them please?

We are expecting our first child in March and had the perfect boy's name picked out before we were ever expecting. Of course, now we find out it's a girl and we're clueless.

Thanks for sharing your ingenuity!

I have thought of naming my children after Disney characters. Here's a few that I really like...

Belle
Jasmine
Wendy

I watch many t.v. shows on Disney Channel, so here are some names that might suit a girl.....

Wren (Even Stevens)
Keely (sounds like KEY + LEE) (Phil of the Future)

Diznee25

I know I am the first one posting a reply to this but I think I have the perfect name. Sydney its just Disney with the letters mixed up. Well except there is a y instead of an i. Sidney is the male spelling.
Other ideas
Jasmine
Belle
Mary (Poppins)
Aurora (sleeping beauty)
Ariel
Melody (little mermaid 2)
Ella (like cinderella)
Amelia (the aristocats)
Audrey (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
Olivia (The Great Mouse Detective)
Sarah (Lady and the Tramp)
Thalia (Hercules)

Jessie-Jessica
Coral
Bianca
Ariel
Melody

I'll think of some more I promise..lol

My daughter doesn't have a Disney name but it is unique if you like unique names that is...

Rayne (pronounced Rain) middle name is Renee

I have heard that Cinderella was first called Ella but when she got in the cinder ashes she became conderella.

Well....my daughter's name is a Disney name to us. We were on a WDW vacation with our 18 month old son, and I was 4 months pregnant. On one of the Disney busses, a teenage girl struck up a little conversation with our 18 month old son. He was so enjoying her....during the conversation, she asked his name, he told her and than she said "My name is Regan"...he looked at her and said "Hi, Regan"...and my hubby and I looked at each other and said "that's a nice name, very different"...needless to say, when we got back from vacation and found out our baby was going to be a girl, neither one of us had to think any further than the name Regan!!!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and finding out you are having a little princess:! Girls are awesome! Mine is almost 6 months old and so much fun!

As far as Disney names, I love: Isabella (Belle for short), Ariel, and Jasmine. Dh said no to all 3 though! Maybe you will have better luck with your dh!

My SIL is also due in March but she is having a boy.

Oops, meant to add my favorites in there...

Calla (disney's gummi bears cartoon)
Calliope (hercules)
Lillian or Lilly (Walt's wife)

You know, a lot of people think Briar is a boy's name. :confused3 I guess for me it would be the same as naming your son Jasmine or Aurora.

Thanks for all the responses! Definitely included some I hadn't thought of.

I will say we're really not into the Princesses so any names relating to them is probably out. ;)

i think the a in briar makes it look more feminine than the e in brier, which makes me think of a boy. i think briar is a pretty and unusual name for a girl.
