It appears that Ebay has shut down Disney Auction Pins and sent bid cancellation notices to everyone who recently purchased or bid on a pin.

The email states that it was shut down for violation of ebay rules so not sure what is going on.

Anyone have any information on this?

I have not received any bid cancellation notices.

I purchased some items on the 9/5 and 9/6, and these are still in my Won list, and the closed auctions look normal.

However, I did notice that ALL of Disney Auctions, including Disneyauctionears, Disneydeals, and their related eBay stores, are empty. So it's not just pins.

Ebay only sent the notice for auctions that were still ongoing like the Tinker Bell Neverland Pin which I bid in but the auction hadn't ended yet.

My thoughts are that DA's disclaimer violates ebays Non Selling Seller policy. DA essentially states they can cancel any auction , at any time and not sell bidders the items they won. Ebay sees it a little differently.

Disney Deals auctions are still running. At least the ones I have bookmarked are. They don't carry the same disclaimer.

There is also a discussion on Dizneypins.

Here's to hoping DA eBAY will finally put limit restrictions on to negate greedy pin collectors from sharking us down the line. A 4 to 6 pin limit sounds about fair to me probably not to the few greedy one's who snag 10 to 50 pins a clip. My fingers are crossed.

Auctions are relisting on PINS and regular Disney Auction sites.

According to info on that other pins site, the fault was eBay's, eBay is now calling all individuals who had bids on active auctions when the problem happened, and that all auctions will be relisted, and bidding will resume at the point of the inadvertent closure.

DA is up and running, the buy it now has over 400
listings. Alot of duplicates but believe it or not the
CEO Stitch is even still up.

as if it wasn't bad enough to have your auctions
end early with cancellation once, it has happened
again...

I just got MORE emails stating that the new auctions
I bid on the second time were cancelled and pulled...

DA's fault, Ebay's fault... doesn't matter! The two
companies need to get their stuff in check and figure
things out... it is quite madenning to check my email
from work and all is well then get home, check before
bed and all hell has broken loose!

It is not about who wins the pins at this point!
I don't know that I'll bid with DA again after multiple
frustrations! You would just think that two reputable
companies would be able to figure this stuff out!

DA should probably look into their own auction site
at this point. Then if there are still screw ups...
it will definitely be deemed THEIR fault!

just my 2 cents!
