none, wakefield hasnt been chosen for anything - the competition to pick the town is still open. There is no mention from what I have seen of any investment in the chosen town - only a "party" for the winning town.
Seems a very odd competition though - I dont really see what disney has to gain from it. Clearly the chosen town will have nothing really in common with WDW.
Does anyone know how many acres of land Disney is looking to invest in at Wakefield due to the fact that Disney has launched a country wide competition to search for a place in the UK to twin with Walt Disney World Florida?
Disney isn't going to buy any land in UK as a result of Walt Disney World "Twin Your Town" competition in the UK. It's just a contest to build interest in Walt Disney World for UK residents. The winner gets a trip for four to Walt Disney World and the town gets a Disney-themed party.
