Hi I will be going to Disney for Easter. I have been to Disney many times and I know that it will probably be crowded that weekend. MY question is whether they decorate for Easter and if there are anyting special planned for that weekend. Thanks

I'm glad you asked. I asked this question a couple weeks ago but no one answered me. I wanted to know if any of the hotels had Easter Egg hunts too. Come on....someone has to know something.... :confused3

We really enjoyed last Easter/Spring break, great weather and great time!

Think most of the Disney hotels offer a free kids activity Easter morning, but they're likely limited to those staying there. I knew from these boards that the Poly (where we stayed) typically did something, but when we asked at check-in, they were very hush hush. Am guessing they didn't want crashers, so they didn't advertise until a day or two before. Anyway, the Poly. had a very nice candy hunt for the resort kids (they did check IDs to ensure only guests of the Poly. participated). Our kids had a ball!

We avoided MK on Easter because it reportedly gets very crowded, so can't say what's done there. Didn't see any decorations during the week, but did see the Easter bunny along with some singers/dancers on Main Street. Also can't say what paid Easter offerings there were at restaurants, but I'm sure there were some nice pricey buffets available.

After the Poly's candy hunt, we went to Epcot, figuring it could handle the crowds best. Good move! And while touring the countries, we went to the U.S. pavilion and they were signing kids up for a little egg hunt (very little but sweet), so our kids did that as well.

Yah, I tried going to the Disney website to see if they had anything advertised but I couldn't find anything. I know that resturants have different menu items because I already did ADR. However, I was just wondering if there was anything else special. I mean they decorate for both Halloween and Christmas.

We will be in Disney also during Easter. I think we will just plan our own little easter egg hunt that morning. The kid's are still really young but it will give them some excitement. The Epcot idea might be good instead of MK. THanks for the tip!
