Hi everyone,

Sorry took me so long to make it back its been hectic since we got home from holidays.
We had a wonderful time at Disney for Christmas, well I did. lol DH as I expected wasnt too thrilled over the people at Christmas but thats why we went for 2 weeks right? The kids had a terrific time. DD rode Rockin Roller Coaster 8 times. Can you tell she loved it? DS who's 8 rode everything he possibly could.. or mom would allow lol And loved it. He's as much a speed demon as his sister. The only drawback.. they found 2 weeks at disney too long. They wished we had split the holiday between the beach and disney. They loved the first week. Think it was mostly the line ups for Xmas week but we knew that was going to happen so Christmas Day and Day after we just took it easy. Did downtown disney, it was 85 degrees that day so we spent it in the pool mostly. The people were terrific. Our housekeeper Rose we fell in love with. She was such a sweetheart. We had bought her a Xmas gift (not disney related) and she had tears in her eyes.. she came back the night before we left just to hug us good bye.
All in all it was a terrific time. I just received a discount in the mail from Disney for 40% off and was thinking of bringing the kids back for 3-4 days. Any opinions?
Once again sorry for the delay. I'd suggest to anyone to enjoy Christmas at Disney, we met such wonderful people that we're still friends with. Just remember its going to be crowded. We ate at the Pop Century resort and cannot complain one bit about the food it was great.

Glad you had a great time. I agree...Christmas at WDW is a good time and decorations are beautiful.

Debbie... what dates were you there? I'm currently booked for 2 weeks that include Dec. 21st through Jan 3rd and I've been thinking of doing exactly what you "wish" you had done... one week at Disney and one at the beach!

Who knows, actually, what my dates will end up being because I'm trying to split the weeks between Halloween and Christmas but very curious to what your dates were!

40% off? JUMP at it... :thumbsup2

We were there from Dec 19 to Dec 31. The week before Christmas was great. Christmas week is BUSY.. very busy.. if you dont like crowds/lineups waiting. I'd suggest to book the beach that week. All in all we enjoyed it but even the kids found 13 days at disney too much. Aweek and a bit would be perfect
