So, I'm doing the fall CP program and Christmas happens during that time, which'll be weird, as my first Christmas without the parents. But then, somehow or other, it ends up that my sister's going to come down to Florida to spend Christmas with me. So my question is... well really it's two things. One, I don't expect to have a lot of time off, any veteran CP's know aprox how much? Two, what are things that my sister can do to amuse herself while I work? We've been to Disney tons of times, but any suggestions are still nice (I'm worried she'll be a little lonely.). Thanks a bunch!

You will work Christmas day. I was actually scheduled for 13 hours Christmas day, but was allowed to go home after about 10.

I guess what she can do will depend on where you are working. She can harrass... er... i mean...visit you at work, and if it just so happens to be a park, or a ride, pop in every couple hours, ect. It's something that you'll have to figure out when you know your work location.

I definately agreed. I did the college program in Fall of '03 and I worked almost all of Christimas Eve and Christmas Day. Yea, it's definately different, but it's soooo amazing. I mean, working on Christmas at Disney was like being in a different world for me, you'll enjoy it :) Also, your sister could always visit you at work. My parents actually visited me at the restaurant I worked at (I was Full Service Food and Beverage) and of course, she could go to the parks or see Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Celebration!

Thanks for all the ideas! I hope she has fun, and I'll tell her about your ideas!

Hey, my parents are planning on coming down so we can celebrate an early Christmas. Anyone know when would be a good time for me to request off from work so we can get together and have fun in the parks? I heard any time around the beginning of December to about the 14th or so?
