2 years ago, my daughter bought a Stitch print at Hollywood Studios. We came home and framed it. She loves it. For this trip, she wants to buy another print and so does my son. We are not going to HS this trip, however. Do they have an art store in DTD? If not, where can we go to buy another print?

Thank you. I knew that they had art stores, but I wasn't sure what was in them. If that makes sense. I saw that one of them has glass work and woodwork. That isn't what we will be looking for. Hopefully they have the moderately prices pieces and not the REALLY expensive ones.

Look in your resort store also. When we stayed at BC a couple of years ago I got some very pretty artwork there. Of course it was paintings of Beach Club scenes, but you never know what you might find at your resort store.

DTD's Art of Disney has a good range in selection and price.

There is also a great art store in Epcot. To the right of Spaceship earth as you enter the park. We get something every trip!

DON'T GO THERE!!! I went once for a simple poster and walked out with $200 in prints. That place is evil!

For something different... There is a shop in HS on the same street that ToT is on. They sell hand drawn sketches. They are one of a kind and super cool. Not cheap but worth it imho. I can't remember specifics as i haven't been to the studios in years. But look in DTD see if they have the sketches and if in the studios check some of the shops on the same street that ToT is on. Sorry this is so vague. Most of WDW sells the same old *stuff* but if you really look carefully in the nooks and crannies you can find some terrific one-off stuff. I have on my wall a hand sketch of Mickey dressed as a Fireman (from around the time of world trade center bombings) and a sketch of Dale in his Rescue Rangers costume.

The DTD store will have the posters you want and much more...

We definitely want prints and not posters. My kids have quite a bit of spending money for Disney. Neither one of them want to waste their money on frivolous things. They want something that they can have forever. Prints are great for that. We are not doing HS studios this visit. That shop, in HS, is where my daughter bought her Stitch print. So, I needed to find someplace other than there. Thank you, though.

Ok try the art store in DTD. They have a lot and may also have the sketches. I just can't remember. Nice that your kids know the difference between short term and long term ownerships. My two main prints are: Mickey at the drawing table looking into a mirror doing a self portrait but he is drawing Walt and the other one is Mickey saluting a tattered American flag. I am sure they will find something they like.

Go to dtd and the Epcot art gallery and get them into Darren Wilson's or David willardson's. They r our 2 favorites, we have David's original 3 pieces and have a few of Darren's second and on year stuff.
