We are driving from Philly and were supposed to stay over in Kingsland, GA, which is right on the border line of Fl, but plans have changed. We are going to be driving straight to Orlando. Since we are only going to stay one night just till we can check in at OKW, does anyone know which hotels have the lowest rates for a night? We were told about Days Inn Maingate West but we want to make sure this would be the best one. There is going to be 7 of us so we will need 2 rooms. Any suggestions?? Thanks

I would stay any from the Days Inn in Orlando, Florida because they have bad reps. I would pick another hotel.

Look up hotel hotelkingdom.com to find a decent hotel rate before I stay at the Days Inn.

Mom just got me a copy of "Unofficial Guide to WDW" and they offer a list of "Top 30 Best Deals" for offsite hotels. Since you will be arriving so late, I will assume you do not want to spend a lot of money. Grosvenor at Downtown Disney is on the list and you might get a good rate there (828-4444) . Also listed are: Travelodge Suites Eastgate (396-7666); Hampton Inn Convention Center (354-4447) and Wellesley Inn (370-5100). You might find the whole list online at the Unoffical Guide's site, but in the meanwhile I selected these for you because they had 3 or more stars for "room rating" but were inexpensive. Sorry I don't know where any of these are. Hope this gets you started. We are facing a similar deal in November, hoping to arrive a night early and we will get in quite late. For convenience and budget, I may just try a night at the AllStars.
