Ok.. I am going to try and write a trip report for the first time.

Cast: Dh, dd (will be 3 in July) and myself

We left Ohio April 22 around 1pm. We stopped around 11:45pm for the night in Georgia. Arrived at ASSports around 2pm on the 23rd. The drive was pretty painless, I was really worried about dd in the car for that long but she did GREAT.

Checked in ASSports, ate at the food court which was PACKED. We have never stayed at a value resort and I don't think I will do it again. My dh and I just did not like it. Dh and dd went swimming in the rain, got cleaned up and went off Disney property for dinner.

April 24 - Breakfast at the food court (which was packed again) and headed to the Beach Club. We are DVC members so we are staying at the villas. Checked in, room was not ready so we walked to Epcot. I went to guest services to pick up my DDE letter and off to do a few things. Went back to BCV room still not ready so off to the GREAT pool. My dd loves this pool. The weather was wonderful and it made it even nicer when we found out that they were hit with a snow storm back home on Saturday. My sil had 14 inches of snow. :rotfl: Our room was finally ready so up we go, we had a 1 br which was wonderful. We went back to the ESPN club for dinner and just chilled out for the rest of the night.

April 25 - Princess breakfast at Epcot. My dd was very excited to meet Jasmine and Belle but as soon as they started coming out she cried. When they reached our table she cried and would not go near them. My dd has been to Disney 4 times now and has never been afraid of the characters. What is going on with her? Oh well!! Went back to the hotel to change and off to BB. Saw a snake!! DD LOVES this place. She loves the slides in the kiddie area and we also took her on the ski lift so we could ride the family raft ride. She loved the lift but hated the raft ride. We spent most of the day at BB. Weather once again was wonderful and we had a great time.

April 26 - Animal Kingdom spent most of the morning there and then my dh had a tee time so I took dd back for a nap (one of the few she took while we were in vacation). She napped for 2 hours, spent a little time playing in the room and then off to Beaches and Cream for dinner. YUMMY!!!! We love this place. The rain started so we just hung out outside at the BC. Rained stopped walked around Boardwalk. DH had a great time golfing, watched the fireworks and off to bed.

April 27 - Once again we are off to BB. Saw a snake. YIKES!! Yes, we spend a ton of time here. :) We spent most of the day in the water and playing in the sand. Headed back to the hotel got ready for dinner with Mickey at Chef Mickey's. Dinner was great!! DD still afraid of characters. Dh and I had a few pictures taken with them and at the end Minnie came back to our table and dd had her picture taken. That would end the fear of characters. She became a character monster, there was no stopping her at this point.

April 28 - Back to Epcot. Did spaceship earth dd hated it, dh did Soarin he only had to wait 20 minutes. We tried to do the Crush thing and dd wanted nothing to do with it. She became very afraid of going inside buildings because she thought they were all dark and loud so she cried the whole time we were in there. Saw a few characters which she loved, epsecially Belle although she was quite afraid of the Beast. We headed back to the BC to do more swimming and playing on the waterslide which we could not get her off of.

More to come later. Pretty boring reading material so far.

Not boring at all. I love to hear different accounts. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to the rest. We are also DVC owners at BCV, don't you just love it there?

Not boring at all! Can't wait to read more!

I am deathly afraid of snakes and if I saw one, well this would be me.... :faint:

Glad to hear the trip is going well so far. :sunny:

Not boring at all, if you want boring, read my trip report.

We love BCV too, it is our very favorite DVC resort, along with Beaches and Cream. :cool1:

We got there on April 29th (but did not stay at BCV this time.)

How was your room? What kind of view did you have?

Look forward to hearing more. SOunds like you had a nice long trip. :cheer2:

I am finally getting a chance to finish my trip report.

April 29 - Check out of BCV. Check in at WL. We had bell services transfer our luggage. Sad to be leaving the BCV but we were excited to try WL. We went back to Epcot for the morning and then headed over to Beaches and Cream for lunch. Checked in WL around 2:30 room was ready. We were on the 5th floor, our view was the villas and we could also see the bus stop. The room was nice, we of course had a hard time adjusting since we had a 1 br at the BCV. This hotel is nice. We really like it but will wait a few years to return. The pool area was very crowded and the slide was a little too fast for my 2 1/2 year old. We sent her down once. We will definitely return to this pool when she is older.

April 30 - We had breakfast at the Whispering Canyon. Very good and fun. Price was great. Off to BB for the day. Off to Magic Kingdom for the evening. We spent most of our time waiting for characters. I think we went through the 3 lines in the tent back in toontown at least 3 times. The tent now a line for Princess Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White. My daughter loved it. Minnie's area had Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck. My daughter who for a month before we left said she would not go near Goofy loved him. He is now her favorite. Magic Kingdom was pretty packed that day. We took her on a few rides and my dh and I took advantage of the parent swap on Space Mountain. We had a great day, we really enjoyed watching her with the characters.

May 1 - We spent some time at Animal Kingdom. Went to the Festival of Lion King show which we absolutely love and the Tarzan Rocks which my dd loves. I went on dinosaur and then we went back to the WL to play in the pool area. Once again very crowded. We had dinner at Ohana's our favorite restaurant. Our PS was for 7:40. I told them I would wait for a window seat since dd only likes the fireworks if she can't hear them. We were seated at 7:50 and had the best view of the fireworks it was great. My dd loved it.

May 2 - Off to BB again. We had PS at 5:40 for the Whispering Canyon. Good food but my dh got sick. This restaurant really is alot of fun but a little too loud for my dd. She spent most of the time on my lap.

May 3 - Went to Animal Kingdom in the morning and then my dh went golfing. Dd and I took a nap and then we took the bus to Epcot hopped on the monorail and we got to ride in the front. It was awesome!! My dd loved it but dh was upset that he missed out. We rode the monorail to TTC and then rode the ferry to Magic Kingdom. My dd loves the bus and the monorail which is why I took the long way to MK. Off to see Jasmine and Aladdin and rode the Magic Carpet for the 15th time. Rained for about 20 minutes and then off to Ariel who did not have much of a line this time which was great. Then we headed over to toontown again so she could see the characters. We had a ps at Crystal Palace at 7:40 we were seated around 7:50. My dd loved it. She was so excited to see Pooh and Piglet. We were still there when the fireworks went off and we practically had the characters to ourselves. It was great for my dd. We bought a new stroller before we left for Florida and it came with a rain cover. Worked out great that night since it rained again when we were leaving the park. My dd stayed dry.

May 4 - We were supposed to head home this day but we decided to stay 2 more nights so we checked out of WL and off to the CBR. My dd loves the slide at this pool. We went to DD in the evening ate at the Sandwich place.

May 5 - Back to MK for the day. Rained a little, dh and I did parent swap on Splash Mountain. My dd spotted a snake in the water. So far the snakes we have seen were all black, this snake was black and orange. She kept telling me "Mommy look a snake" I told her it was just a branch from the tree (did not look in the water yet) when she kept saying it I finally looked and sure enough there it was. Back to DD.

May 6 - Time to pack up and head home. This is always a bad day for us but we had been there for 2 weeks so I was ready to go home. We finally made it to MGM watched the Beauty and the BEast show. Sun started coming out so we decided to back to BB for a couple hours before heading home. We finally got on the road around 6 drove for about 5 hours stopped for the night. We got back home on Saturday around 8pm.

We had a great time. My dd loved the characters once she warmed up to them. I had a great time just watching how excited she would get. MK was really the only park that I felt was crowded. The weather was great and all our hotel stays were wonderful.

We did purchase the DDE card so that was used quite a bit. We had Mickey Mouse sign a postcard and mailed it home so my daughter would get it after we returned. My dd told Mickey it was for her friend Megan but I then told him it was for her and he wrote a really nice note to her. She is so proud of that postcard.

DisneyPhd...Our room was great. Room number 347. It was on the backside of the villas (I believe). Basically we had a view of a bunch of trees.

We are all ready to go back. Waiting for my 11 month window to make reservations for next year.
