Disney App....can someone explain?

So I'm trying to learn how to use this newer app version....I'm a bit confused, so I see a ticket on my acct, and I want to reserve a park,I can do that on the app which seems straightforward.... but if I want to look at my reservations in my acct, I'm in the app, and it routes me over to their website where I have to login again,to see my reservations? Is this supposed to do this? It seems rather unwieldy,it doesn't all show in the app.... (not to mention, years ago I had friends/fam linked in my acct,so now I can see their plans but with no details on my acct,I guess it's upt to me to know which plans are/aren't mine?) Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong,or if this is just the way it is now.

No, you should be able to see all your reservations on the app under Future Plans. If you can see the room reservation on the web site (meaning it's linked), you should be able to see it on the app. Sorry if that doesn't help much - 'should' be able to see and actually seeing can be very different. Is this a regular Disney resort/cash reservation? DVC? It's possible you need to link it to your MDE account.

Ok so if I click on future plans, it shows a park res.- if I click on that,it goes to the website to show details. Is that normal? I'm staying offsite so no hotel to show

Yes, that's normal. There's nothing really to click on when viewing the reservation unless you want to cancel or modify it. That's why it's taking you to the website.
