Hiya

We got our annual passes for disney, in december 2005, and used alot of the benefits that came with it,

but I have just been readin gthe info and it says the benefits only last till the end of 05, so what happens now its 06 and my passes dont run out till december?

are there still benefits and if so are the listed anywhere? we have the annual passes that dont include the water parks as we dont go to them.

Im a bit panicky that the benefits ended in 05 (and hey the shopping discount was nice)

Also I know you get free parking but how? do you show your pass and id?

thanx for any help, I am just going through all my holiday things (esp clothes lol to induce a diet)

YOu carry on getting the benifits, they will stay broadly the same, iit is just that the booklet they issue is for each calander year and sometimes change slightly.

I don't think there have been any changes bewtween 2005 & 2006

For free parking when you get to the toll plaza just show your pass.

For this year the little booklet does not even list the savings so they suggested we keep one of last years to remind ourselves. They also said it was available online at the passholders site (often a nightmare to get into) and useless if you don't get told that until you are already in WDW!

Can anyone tell me what the benefits are? Im going twice this year so i will be buying one when i go at the end of April?

With an AP you are also then able to buy a Disney Dinning Discount Experience (DDE) this is a card that give you 20% off of nearly all table service meals in the parks and at the resorts and a few counter service places where there are no table serive opntisn (such as the all stars food courts and AK). It costs $60 but can save a lot.

I have that, it is good.

Unfortunatly not renewing the passes when they run out in december though.

There is quite a big difference in what a Florida resident pays to how much a Tourest pays :furious: talk about looking after your own ??

We're thinking of buying annual passes this year so I'll check out the benefits.

Tony - I just thought I'd add that our 14 and 21 day passes offer fantastic value and are not available in the states - there's not much difference in price between the 14day and a MYW pass. So sometimes Disney looks after us English Tourists more than American Tourists :)
