Disney announces full updated FLE roster!

You may be surprised. In DCA they are retheming thier off the shelf wild mouse coaster into.....Goofy's Sky School. The story of GSS is that Goofy decided to train pilots on his chicken farm. While many people hoped that whole coaster would go with the parks big retheming, as elements of it's redesign appeared, people found they are real happy with it's new look.

DCA'sexpansion is way above and beyond FLE and just better there really is no debate.

A massive E-ticket in RSR when FLE will not have one.
A total of 4 rides where FLE only has two.

So why debate I said nothing referring to the whole FLE or DCA expansion in comparison?

I said Barnstormer may turn out good because GSS is looking good. They were both poor attractions to begin with.

While it's not something "exciting", I can however see another HUGE advantage to the current expansion... and that is crowd eating ability.

An omnimover attraction in fantasyland could do wonders in eating the crowds of younger (both chronological and at heart) guests who love the storybook, fairytale, and fantasy elements that entail fantasyland.

It also creates a lot more space that in the long run could help to relieve the congestion that is known as Fantasyland. Between stroller parking and the general crowd levels, It's a rare sight during the day when you don't have a sea of people to navigate.

Belle and Ariel in particular being pushed back from the main "walkway" between Tomorrowland and Liberty Square may help to at least relieve a little pressure from the bottleneck that is between Peter Pan and Small World.

(Still think it would've been awesome if the expansion included a stroller parking garage. :rotfl: )

^ I think this is a great point. Makes sense for Disney and for guests.

And as far as it being the "entire 2009-2013 capital investment in the parks," it's still plausible for there to be some smaller additions at other parks over the next two and a half years. Even if it is the entire investment, Disney doesn't have much of a motive to pour money into DHS or AK. They are the 7th and 8th most visited parks in the world, surpassed only by other Disney properties. Shops and restaurants can turn profits themselves as opposed to attractions, which cost much more and do not directly impact revenue.

I totally agree that DHS and AK are underdeveloped and while I personally am pleased with the Fantasyland Expansion, I wish more money was directed at those two parks. But it's easier to lure guests with a major expansion to MK, which, for all intents and purposes, IS Disney.

Too bad none of us are in charge :sad2:
