Disney Angels & The Last Man Standing

Thanks Diane. It's getting cooler here tonight, but not turning cold until Sunday, so at least I can wear flip-flops. They don't touch my poor pinky toe. I may wait until tonight to explore what I have actually done to it. It makes me queasy to even think about it. LOL!

DS had to have a big toenail removed when he was about 13. They shot it full of novacane and just ripped it right off!:earseek: LOL! He said it didn't hurt, but he was wishing he hadn't been looking!

Oh no! That sounds terrible!

DS ran a door over his big toe once and we had to almost remove all of his nail. I'm hoping mine is not nearly that bad. It's such a tiny nail since it's on my little toe. Maybe I can just remove the broken part and trim up the rest?

I've got to pick up a little. My mother is bringing her dog Sassy back to spend the weekend. She's going to the Lake of the Ozarks with our friend who just lost her husband. They already had the trip planned and decided Bill would have wanted them to go ahead with it. It'll be good for them.

Anyway, I have to set up Sassy's pen. I don't allow her to run free unless we are watching her. She doesn't get along with our cat. So we hold her a lot and let her run around outdoors, but keep her penned when we aren't watching.

Will this madness ever end????????

MP - hoping your toe feels better. those stories are grossing me out!

DD and I are getting ready to watch The Little Mermaid right now!

Sassy is half yorkie and half pom. They call them Yorkiepoms. She is darling, but my good friend calls her a yip yap type of dog. It fits. ;)

When Mom left her today, she told me that she put some raw hamburger in my refrigerator. I am supposed to make tiny balls and point at them one by one. That is what makes her eat them? Can you tell she is spoiled? LOL! I have news for her, I'm not hand feeding her dog. Mine would think I'd lost my mind. She'll eat when she is hungry.

SB, the toe stories gross me out, too. And one of them is on my foot! :guilty:

I'm trying to do some more Christmas shopping. The kids gave me lists and I'm finding a few of their wants through Ebay. I find it's a good place to get video games, DVDs and CDs. My kids don't even care if a few of their goodies are previously played as long as they are in good shape and it allows me to buy more of the items on their lists. Amy asked for her own DVD player, so we ordered it from Amazon recently. One day I brought her home from school and it was sitting in front of the door. The box said DVD player very clearly on all sides. Sigh. So much for that surprise. Maybe grandma and grandpa will decide to give it to her, so she can get something else from Santa.

Hi Guys!!!

We're still here................

and we got new smilies!!!!:cool1:

Oh Melissa :scared1: your poor toe!
I agree with your theory on Sassy...when she's hungry, she'll eat....just like a kid will. I have a friend that stressed throughout her children's younger years...always wanting them to get a "good nap" or a "balanced meal". It's not always going to happen and the kids....and the pets, are none the worse for it.

Hi everyone......I'm done with work for the week!!!!:jumping1:

Just a quick afternoon check-in.....WHO COULD BELIEVE WE'RE STILL HERE!!!!

Could it be because we're such Angels?!?!??!?:scratchin

I can't believe we are still here.

Finally home from work but haven't done the paperwork. That will wait until Sunday, I'm afraid.

Better than calling them Porkies.

I have to get the kids fed and off the the football game. I'll be going too, in a bit.

Doing a quick check in - do you think maybe the mods don't ever want me to start my own thread?!

Well I just hit 4500.

AWWWWW!!! Last week after the rainy football game, I told the kids almost daily, "Clean the mud off your band shoes." So today, as they are trying to rush out the door at the last minute, as usual, DS can't find his shoes. We searched everywhere, and then some. Even called DH at work to see if he had any ideas. (I rarely do that.) Looked in the basement, his closet, the shoe cubboard, EVERYWHERE. Finally, I moved a bag in his room and they were on the floor under the bag. Somehow that was my fault becasue I put them in his room. I , however, did not put the bag on top of them. But, still my fault somehow. They are on their way now. Still couldn't find the hand warmers though.

Wow; it's still in the 80's here and nice in the mornings with just a nip.

However, we are supposed to get rain Sunday in front of the "seasonal temperatures"

I'm off to do geek stuff at work. We are going to Active Directory this weekend and are working tonight and in the morning. Wish us luck.
