Great chatting with angels tonight. We need to do that again.

I just wanted to say that my MIL came through her surgery just fine. Now we are playing a waiting game. Should have the results back in two or three days. Cross your fingers for us. Hopefully if it is cancer, we'll have caught it early.

My head hurts. Think I'll take some Advil and head to bed. Talk to you guys tomorrow.

Morning Angels....sorry I missed chat last night, I was just exhausted......and in a pissy mood, so I just went to bed.

Patrick got his mid-term yesterday, and is getting straight A's in all of his classes......he came home and said "if I give you a surprise, will you give me a surprise?" I agreed, and told him his surprise was that he could go to WDW!!!!!!

Been up since 3:30, will need a nap later.

Yay for Patrick! I haven't heard yet what my kids are making. Conferences will be coming up, so if we don't get grade reports I guess we'll hear how they are doing then.

Diane, I'll be thinking of you Thursday. That is the day that I go for my 6 month mammogram and exam. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

I went to the dentist this morning. No cavities! They did fit me for a new retainer. I haven't had one for years and seem to be sleeping with my tongue pressing on my teeth. Anyway, it's going to be pink and green (watermelon pattern). So I go back in two weeks to pick it up.

My silly dog Sasha just came through the living room crying. The dog actually sobs when she cries. I got up to see what was wrong and she had about 4 Girl Scout cookies wrapped up in plastic wrap in her mouth. I guess she found part of David's lunch somewhere and was trying to decide where to stash it for future enjoyment. :rolleyes:

Now I'm wondering if he forgot his lunch? I can't imagine that cookies would be the part that he'd have left over. Guess I need to do a search for other food items.

Guess she had a picnic and decided that she was too full to eat the cookies until later.

LOL at that, Merry. My dogs are never too full to eat something they aren't supposed to.

Diane, I hope that you get some relief soon. The not knowing what is causing the problems has to be making it worse when you have the flare ups.

I just returned from yet another Temp agency recruiter. She seemed to be the best communicator, so hopefully something will come up. DH suggested that I work for him, but the company is not in a position to hire anyone, I told him he had to pay me. I do it for free now, but if he starts to get busy, then maybe I will do more, and he can afford me. Or I'll keep looking........

I picked up my steno pad that I had left at my short lived career in the beauty industry, and left a very nice thank you note for the owner, telling her how much I appreciated the time there, and wishing her success in finding the right person. I hope she feels really guilty now. I think that I must have insulted the other girls that work there, cause I did all the work there was to do, and asked for more. Sorry, but I don't like to waste time.

Off to do some more sewing, redecorating is a long time procject!

Marsha - hoping you find a job that is suitable to you. Good for you in leaving a thank you note - maybe they will find the right "slow" person for that job.

LK and I ate at a fabulous German Restaurant today. (sorry Gail, I forgot the leftover pizza). I had a reuben, but instead of bread, they had potato pancakes on the top and bottom. It was to die for! I also had german potato salad which was excellent too. Now I'm stuffed and will probably fall asleep at work!
