Disney and where else to go in Floridia

We are going to Disney this January but also want to combine it with somewhere else in Florida. Any good suggestions? I am looking for relaxing I think the idea of Disney and a relaxing vacation will work great!

we've also done "the beach" we go to the clearwater area, have also gone to vero beach area too. Both are nice. and doing after disney gives a vactation to your vacation.

I was thinking Clearwater area but heard they are having trouble with red tide. Anybody know if that is true and or if it would be gone by January???

I think if you have at least 2 weeks then a Disney plus beach vacation would work well. I would look into Sanibel - January is a little lower than high season - rent a condo preferably from an owner for the best rates. It is paradise!!

I love the Salvador Dali Museum...south of Clearwater. Haven't been in years but always a must do when I went to Belleaire Beach.

Don't have two weeks about eight or nine days. We understand we won't get to do everything and won't even try.

You might want to consider Kennedy space center on the space coast, or a trip to St. Augustine. The drive up A1A is as relaxing and scenic as it gets.
