Here are my thoughts for Disney and Political Science.
I think the most obvious Disney/Poli Sci connection would be working as a lobbyist in D.C.,Tallahassee, Sacramento, and maybe Orlando or Anaheim. Of course, those jobs probably don't go to new B.A.'s, but you might have a chance as an aide or staffer for lobbyists.
Of course, in urban planning, that might not be what you are thinking about. Disney may employ urban planners in park development or hire that out when developing parks and hiring architects. I'm not at all connected, and don't know.
Being an urban planner, you will have the opportunity to incorporate things you like about Disney in projects you do work in.
[MOST IMPORTANTLY/B] never be afraid to call a company, tell them what you are interested in, and ask to interview somebody. You may be able to reach the HR Director, College Recruiter, etc. They may be able to give you the name of the head of urban planning or give you other important information.
Employers like to see people with gumption that are burning to work for their company. I know there are procedures, and Disney would probably be a hard nut to crack, but do some research, and you may be able to get somewhere with it. For now, its only the price of a phone call. If you get someone, followup with a well drafted letter. It might be even better to send the letter first. Good Luck!
P.S. ~ I'm getting a Ph.D. in Public Policy and am studying Economic Development. I've worked in a university environment for a while, and often tell students to make a call, put in an application, etc. GO FOR IT!!
