Disney Air, how soon can we add flights?

I want to book the Disney Magic transatlantic Oct. 2020. The airline prices only go out to June of 2020 right now. Will Disney give me a price now? Or will they tell me price will be determined at a later date?

Call them and ask if you can schedule the flights yet. I know they can't do it a year and a half in advance, but they very well might have schedules & prices for this coming June.

They will not schedule flights for you without going over pricing. When you book flights via DCL Air, they will review with you what days & times of flights are available, at what price, and then you will choose the flights that best fit your needs.

Because DCL Air negotiates pricing directly with the airlines, their prices are different (sometimes higher, sometimes lower) than what you'll see on public airline websites.

We just booked with them for Italy/Greece next June. It is 330 days from the day of your return is when you can book. Airlines just begin releases of their flights on that date. Any earlier and the flights are not released and available for purchase. I called about a weekafter my date. Found a pretty nicely priced non-stop. I waited about another week, thought about it, then snagged it. I would not have been able to get a better price, so far anyway.

Do the same rules apply for air as if you booked with the airline... ie: non-refundable economy ticket, purchase your seat and luggage? Do they give you choices of airlines?

Depends on what you book with them. In our case to get the rate it was a non-refundable ticket. They do offer a choice of airlines depending on where you are departing from and a choice of refundable tickets that are added on to your price of the cruise that do not have to be paid until your PIF date. Depends on your budget.

They do not sell anything less than economy and in our case with Alitalia we get a personal item, a carry-on and a checked bag included. We were able to select our seats already. You can upgrade directly with the airline should you chose. We got a great rate and Disney security, so for our first experience overseas and with Disney Air, so far, I am pretty happy.
