Disney after Thanksgiving

We are planning a trip to Disney for the week after Thanksgiving starting that Monday. I have been reading the unofficial guide and all the advice about lines, waits, and their touring plans. But I am wondering since we are going at the least popular time of year if we even need to worry about that. Has anyone been the week after Thanksgiving? How were the lines, were you able to ride what ever you want when ever you want or did you need to worry about sticking to some sort of plan? I like the idea of the plans but I hate the thought of running back and forth all over the park and rushing from one ride to the other with out being able to take every thing in. I would much rather see everything as it came in order. Any advice for that week? Thanks.

For us, thats about the best time to visit Disney. Parks and resorts are decorated to the nines for Christmas and its a slow time in the world. Crowds from T-day are gone and the other crowds for Xmas, haven't arrived yet. But low and behold, if everyone finds out the secret of after t-day the numbers of guest for this time increases. Lets keep it our secret.
Park lines are really moderate and most popular rides sometimes have lines but they also have FP. No big issue, the time span is weather great, decorations not to be missed and doable crowds, go for it, you'll never regret it!!

Actually it is becoming one of the most popular times of the year. The first two weeks in December after Thanksgiving is becoming more and more popular and we have seen attendance grow a little each year we go down.

Now last year could be due to hurricane reschedules, because it was pretty busy for that time last year. Not unmanagable by any means but I could tell the difference.

Weather can be topsy turvy. It can be warm one day and cold the next, hot during the day and very cool at night so prepare for it all!!

Crowds aren't too horrible. I think the longest line I waited in without fastpass was around 30-35 minutes. I have seen lines where standby has been 70 minutes for Splash Mtn but they have fastpass.

All the xmas decorations are out and that is very cool!!
