Disney After Cruise. What time did you arrive at your resort?

My fiance and I are doing our honeymoon Disney style! We will be doing a land and sea but it is technically a sea and land. For planning purposes, if you have done Disney World after a cruise, what time did the Disney Cruise Transportation get you to your resort? For reference we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas, Kidani Village.

I think we got to Grand Floridan around 11 but can't remember if I'm being 100% honest as it has been 2-3 years now.

You can get off the ship very early. I think we were at the resort by about 11 too, but I can't remember exactly. definitely in time for lunch.

We have gone after but had a car and 2nd seating at dinner. But I think by 11:30am or earlier. Hey, sometimes your room is ready, if not plan for a nice lunch. All the best with your upcoming Nuptials!!

DCL transportation to WDW do not leave Port Canaveral until about 9am now. You could be at your resort as soon as 10am if your's is the first resort for that bus; if there are other stops before getting to your resort, it will be that much later. However, definitely you should be there in time for lunch barring unforeseen circumstances causing a delay. The last bus to depart Port Canaveral may not leave until at least 9:30am, after making sure all stragglers have debarked. I've heard that one can be a slow ride with multiple stops.

With alternate transportation, you could potentially be at a WDW resort as early as 9:00am.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you everyone! We are going to go to Epcot the day we arrive and I got fastpasses for Soarin' at 12:25 so it sounds like we will definitely make that! With food and wine festival going on I look forward to our lunch that day!

We did this in Feb. Our bus left PC early as we were all on it. I think we got to the hotel just before 10. I have a photo of us at the TTC at 10:45 and in front of Epcot at 11:05. I think we made our first fast pass for around 12:30 to be sure we'd have enough time.

You'll make your FP window for sure. DCL recommends booking any lunch in the parks after 12:30 on debarkation day. When we went to Epcot in March, we were at the International gateway from the Boardwalk around 11:00.

We were one of the first families off Dream and somehow, we ended up in a Disney van vice a bus. We got to Animal Kingdom Lodge (we may have been the first stop), checked in, dropped our bags and we were in a park by about 1030. It was a whirlwind, but very efficient.

WE did this last year and got to the Grand around 10:30-11am. But we were still quite tired. We had lunch at the Contemporary and had a slower day. We stayed up late on the cruise and had to wake up early the next morning. We also did it the weekend of the Spring Ahead time change, so that might have something to do with being really tired.

No worries. I just checked the time stamp on a photo I took earlier this year and we were enjoying a pizza at Via Napoli at 12:09 after taking the DCL bus to Boardwalk.
