We had gotten our daughter a subscription to Disney Adventures in Feb of 2002. She liked it, but decided she wanted a more grown up magazine for her next birthday. So when the renewal notice came, I didn't send it in. In the spring of 03, I noticed we were getting two copies of the magazine. Weird, but I thought it would stop soon. I got a subscription envelope that said something like "This is your final issue". I threw it away, since I didn't intend to continue getting the subscription.
This weekend, we got a letter from them saying we were overdue on our bill and they were turning it over to a collection agency! I brought it in to call them from work, and there's no phone number! I looked it up online and NO PHONE NUMBER. I sent an email through their system, and it says they will reply within two days! (oh by the way, their web page says that our account is paid in full).
Has anyone else had this happen? In my opinion, I don't owe them for the magazines. I didn't ask for them, and did nothing to request that they keep sending them.
And why in the world wouldn't they have a contact number for such a notice???
