Disney Adventure

I'm very tempted. If it was just me I'd jump on it, but unfortunately I have to take the family into account, and that tends to increase the budget 🤣 I'll look into it at least. There's often really good flight prices from Australia to Singapore, so it's definitely worth considering.

I won't be booking it. I'm just not up to such a long flight to get to Singapore. If I hadn't already done the Asian parks I might be tempted to make the trip though.

Honestly one reason I am thinking of going is for the flight. Apparently the longest flight in the world is nyc to Singapore. Over 18 hours. I have to say that is pretty cool. Singapore air seems pretty reasonable too price wise.

Wasn't going to but after the reveal today Im going to have to. It looks like it's going to be the best ship. Just so much more then on a standard ship. Look at all the restaurants and shows and activities on the top deck. This going to need b2bs.

Looks like they have gone all out on the theming and decoration too. Looks like a theme park.

Haha I've been on a number of 16 hour flights. Cool is not the word I use. Exhausting/back breaking/claustrophobic :-).

Singapore airlines is pretty good though. And Singapore is a nice enough place to visit.

I only just skimmed the announcement and with the little I saw, it was an easy yes.

Also, Singapore is an awesome city while you're there! Stayed in Marina Bay Sands and their pool is iconic. The poolside grill was literally by Wolfgang Puck (not sure if it still is). Gardens By the Bay is gorgeous. The Universal Studios there is nice and worth a visit for the different stuff: their Jurassic Park ride is actually a river rapids, they have a Sesame Street dark ride that's really cute, a Lights Camera Action experience that's like if Twister was remade today. Start considering your pre and post-cruise options now! 😂

I will be. i was hoping for December 2026 but i saw that’s school holidays in Singapore so… not during that time. Maybe Jan 2027 (can’t fit another cruise in 2026 unless it’s December.)

I’ll likely also squeeze in a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland as I’ve not been there since 2012.

When the price is right. At least a B2B, because there is so much going on on that ship. And combining it with a citytrip to Singapore. Haven’t been there yet.

We're definitely looking to combine it with an Asia trip. Looking forward to seeing the options when they release in Nov. We'll probably book something. We're a little worried about the size of the ship, but I think more excited about all the options for things to see and do.

While I can handle Disney chaos, I'm not sure I'm up for the adventure. I thought the Norwegian Joy was too chaotic and bonkers (but maybe that was all the people trying to get their money's worth on the drink package? we were glad we splurged on the haven)

Who plans to book the Disney Adventure? We are planning on going mid 2026. Already planning on going to Japan, so we will instead fly to Singapore and start off with a 3 day cruise :) I wish they had ports and not just days at sea, but still looking forward to it.
Wait..what do you mean you wish they had ports?
Are there really no ports of call on these sailings??
That is such a letdown... We wanted to sail with her but if that is the case that there's no ports, looks like it'll be a one and done.
Can anyone provide a link that mentions this is a cruise to nowhere? TIA

No ports of call. The cruises will be 3/4 and occasional 5 day cruises to no where.

From Disney Cruise Line Blog:
The Disney Adventure will spend her inaugural season sailing 3-night and 4-night cruises along with a limited number of 5-night voyages all from Singapore with magical days at sea.

This is wildly disappointing and likely will cause me not to bite the bullet and book for a while. Thats a whole lot of money for flights for a sailing that goes no where. If I'm spending $1500+ in flights per person to go to another country I want to actually see stuff. I love DCL but for me it makes no sense to do that when I could take that money and likely be able to go on two US DCL cruises between flights and sailing cost for the adventure...especially as I'm one of the people that LOVES the magic because of how small she is....

Hopefully in the future they add some ports. Otherwise I'll likely not be sailing on her :(
