So far, no one has commented on this. But the Adventure only has 2 pools for the public. One on Deck 17 (sunnyside pool) and the other on Deck 18 (infinity pool). There is no adult only area, no quiet cove, or anything like that. There are two splash play area but those are reserved for toddlers. And i saw there is a pool on concierge deck. But for the rest of us, its two pools for 6,000+ guests. I also saw there are two slides, but since there's no pool beside these slides, these must be a dry slide? really curious how it will all play out..

On our last cruise our server told us he was switching to the adventure and was not happy about it because he didn’t think the ship layout looked good. He said it doesn’t have any of the stuff regular Disney ships have.

I know they haven't marked it as such on the deck plan, but it wouldn't surprise me if the infinity pool is an 18+ area, as it has a bar located there. Disney doesn't tend to put bars next to the all-ages pools.

That's what happens when you buy a ship that's mostly built that was not designed for you.

Pretty common for slides on a cruise ship to not be exactly near the pools. We've been on MSC and Carnival and there's not really any link between their waterslides and the pools... separate areas.

The Asian market isn’t into swimming nearly as much as the Americas or Europeans. It makes sense for this ship. More shopping, show areas, less pools.

Very true. We've been on the MSC Bellissima out of Taipei, and we had the giant main pool basically to ourselves.

My first question would be if cruisers out of Singapore even want pools. I assume these two pools were all that was planned when the previous company started building the ship, and even though the demographic will skew more towards families, I'm curious if people will make time to swim given all the other attractions.

That was my thought as well. Generally that culture is not into tanning and being out in the sun.
