Disney added Spectromagic - May 2

Just checked the Disney website and they have added a Spectromagic Parade for May 2, increased the park hours slightly for this. I'm so excited that we won't have to go to Mk on May 5 to see the parade. I can rework the last part of our holiday now to avoid some of the crowds at MK.

I sure wish they'd give me a call first and ask which day I'd prefer.
That's good though, it means that Tuesday, May 3rd should be even better since hopefully, even more people will be going on Monday to see Spectro.

We'll be at Sea World on the 2nd. If we're up to it, maybe we'll run over to MK in time for Spectro. I'd rather not go on the 5th.

Disney added the Spectromagic parade on May 2nd because that's our 25th wedding anniversary.

Ottawamom, you rock babe!! I have been stressing this one little point. My DM is a parade addict, when I told her the only spectro was on the same day that epcot closed early, she said so, she was going to MK for the darn parade. She hasn't missed one yet and had no plans on missing this one.

Thanks for giving us a second option, while disney did, but you passed on the info, I had given up checking.

The calendar on the Disney site isn't very good. I haven't found a way to look at the whole month and see which parades and fireworks are scheduled. Instead, you have to go the calendar, then look at each day separately.
Here is the schedule for May 2nd.
I generally prefer using the calendar on the main DIS site. But it doesn't seem to get updated for at least a few days after disney updates their calendars.
