Disney ABC and General Disney Pages- Completed!

I was trying the roller bag for down one side and a large mat will fit on that

Then I wante to do a couple of other bags done the empty side for another photo or jouranling or something.

Haven't thought about what to do with the title yet.

I have a cute idea in my head. It just has to get out.

I don't think you can do shadow and regular with the "fit to page". I think it goes to "real dial size" and then shadow & regular are not in proportion anymore.

I would go ahead and NOT use the shadow since you are putting it on a background paper anyway. MHO

Thanks for the info. I should have asked before I cut all the shadows.

I will cut out the suticases tonight and work on that part of it.

I will ahve to use those black suitcase shadows on another swap.

I forgot to post a phototype, but I did finish them up last night and put both E and Z in the mail today.

No problem- I will take photos of them here for everyone.

Here is my Y page- I have not embellished it yet- just done the basic cutting to get my sizes. I plan on using either a silver or black embossing powder on the Y to make it stand out. I will be inking a lot of things and I have various brads, flowers, and ribbons to add onto the page to embellish thing but this is the basic layout.

I like that page Rebecca. It will look great with your embellishing ideas!

I think the Y page is very cute! I actually just bought some of that paper on-sale at Mike's today.

Just wanted to post the finished T page.... they're all done, and now I'm just waiting for my mom to finish the K page, and we'll mail out together. Rebecca, let me know if I need to include a little bit more money for you to send me a bigger box. If you want to send a bigger box and send it not priority (I think there's a cheaper level?), that's fine with me, since I'm getting a set and a few. We can work the logistics out later, if you want.

Here's T:

I am going to tackle L again today. I have figured out how to do it.

chiefdragon's arrived yesterday while I was gone. Although the box was a little damaged the pieces look fine (I haven't taken them out of the ziplock bags but they are all flat inside of them.

A &B-prototype is done will take pic and post Monday

D & H- ran out of paper will have picture of progress Mon. I changed my idea for D and my cricut ate my paper for the prototype. Will buy the paper tomorrow or Mon.

I have to finish the DCL swap and then will finish these up. Everything is cut for each letter just needs to be assembled.

ARGH!!! I am so stupid!! I made 12 J's instead of 13!! Man, I swear I am so dense sometimes, I had 12x12 stuck in my head so obviously I made 12 and 12 pages.
So Monday I will be running down to Mike's for 1 more piece of each kind of paper.

but 12 J's are done.

OK scrounged up enough paper to finish 2 of the 3 letters, I haven't looked at "U" yet.

Here is the prototype for "C". The letters are not the ones I'm going to use, they were just some I had that were precut and I used them for size, which I think is a good size.

The mats will be double matted. Still need to figure out where to put a tag, maybe behind the big mat.
And I was thinking of Pop dotting some of that characters to add some dimension.

Questions:
1. To many characters?
2. If so should I alternate characters with Black and Red mickey heads?
3. What color for the letters?
4. Do you like the crooked square mats?
5. If not should I make them straight and anchor them with a strip of the black mickey paper?
6. Is it all wrong and should I start from scratch?

Ack! This is sooo hard!!!
We are having a family party tomorrow so I will be offline most of the day. I will check back in tomorrow night, well later tonight. I need to go to bed!

And I was thinking of Pop dotting some of that characters to add some dimension. Sounds good, but I do really like the way you ahve it - -may not be necessary

Questions:
1. To many characters? no, I like the overlapping
2. If so should I alternate characters with Black and Red mickey heads?
3. What color for the letters?below
4. What color for the mats? I have an off white with black polka dots, but I'm not sure I have enough.bwlow
5. Do you like the crooked square mats?yes
6. If not should I make them straight and anchor them with a strip of the black mickey paper?no

Maybe white on black for the squares with some ink or brads - -yellow brads?, and white on yellow for the rectangle and then yellow letters? I really like the letters -- maybe just shadow the C or use glitter paper or stickles or pop dots for the c?

WHatever you do with the squares, use the same color for the tag

The mats will be double matted. Still need to figure out where to put a tag, maybe behind the big mat. that would work fine- you don't need one though with the number is squares you have on the other side- you have your journal box there- along with 2 small mats.
And I was thinking of Pop dotting some of that characters to add some dimension. That is up to you- it will look good either way

Questions:
1. To many characters? no- I love it
2. If so should I alternate characters with Black and Red mickey heads?I like it the way it is
3. What color for the letters?I would go with yellow
4. What color for the mats? I have an off white with black polka dots, but I'm not sure I have enough.I would go with yellow if you do that for the letters and ink them
5. Do you like the crooked square mats?they are fine
6. If not should I make them straight and anchor them with a strip of the black mickey paper?I think they are fine the way they are
7. Is it all wrong and should I start from scratch?NO - I really like the page

Ack! This is sooo hard!!!

I love this page! Just keep me up with where you are- I know you will finish them at SDV if you need.

Rebecca

Love the page BAMB. I like the crooked mats, and lots of characters. My only suggestion (and maybe it's just because nothing is stuck down?) is to make sure the characters don't go off the page.... I don't want Pluto there to get the bottom of his face squished in my top-loader.

And I won't suggest colors, as that's not my forte. So you can read all the other good suggestions. :)

Questions:
1. To many characters? No Way! I love that!
2. If so should I alternate characters with Black and Red mickey heads?I think you should leave it like you have it. It looks GREAT!
3. What color for the letters?First I like that font, eventhougth you mentioned it is not what you are using. Is it storybook, because I am falling for that cart:love:. You could go with the yellow or a carnival blue. You may want to experiement with a few different ones.
4. Do you like the crooked square mats?ABSOLUTELY!
5. If not should I make them straight and anchor them with a strip of the black mickey paper?I like crooked. It gives it some jazz.
6. Is it all wrong and should I start from scratch?I am so in love with this layout. Please Please Please don't start over.

Ack! This is sooo hard!!! That's how I felt too. But with a little this and that and experimenting it all comes together.
