Disney 3x4 and 4X6 journaling cards *accepting requests*

I came back to add a few :) lol

I was thinking for the 'other' cards, the best and probably easiest way to do it, is to just request a card for each of our favourite areas so if you could possibly do:

- Toon Lagoon
- Marvel Superhero Island
- Wizarding World of Harry Potter
- Seuss Landing

If that's too much please feel free to say no :)

If not I'm eternally grateful :)

I wanted to make a few more but this should give you a good start. The logo for Wizarding World gave me a heck of a time. Let me know if there are any quality problems but it should be just fine. If you had something different in mind just let me know. :)

Curious & Curiouser, here are your DisneyQuest cards. My favourite thing about DQ is the old arcade machines :) So... I made a Pacman inspired card (my dotty border was just calling out for a Pacman card!) & also a regular card. I've done both with black backgrounds as the black shows up the DQ logo better. They'll work very well for digi-layouts but might be hard to write on for printed cards so I've included white versions too :) Enjoy!

Very cute!!:hyper: I like the black version... I need to get a special pin to write on black ;)

Love them!:thumbsup2 Feel like I need to make a trip to Universal just to use them :rotfl: I love how you made the paper look like a scroll.... is that clipart of some sort or a something you came up with? Love it!

if I could get one for Beaches and Cream...we are going for a Kitchen Sink and I think it could be fun to have a card for that!

PebblesMom
, I simply had to jump this one forward a bit in my list because I was brainstorming for my next few designs on google and came across the Beaches & Cream menu... it's fab... such ice-creamy colours! The journal card practically designed itself once I got my hands on a copy of the menu :) I've done two versions for you... with & without the "kitchen sink" logo, depending on your appetite on the day! Both versions with & without lines. Hope you like!

*********** please see my new thread for cards :upsidedow ***********

To add to the Restaurants...what about 1900 Park?
We had dinner with Cinderella and the Prince on our last trip and hope to have breakfast with Alice, the Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins on our next trip!! Absolutely no rush!!

Apologies for jumping over you in my ice-cream frenzy dtsz, your cards will be up next over the weekend!

I'm wondering if anyone would like to work up a few cards for me?

Disneyland
Graduation Mickey (i.e. Mickey in a black cap & gown)
Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour

Thanks so much :)

wdwmickey
, quick question for you....my googling research indicates that they changed the name to "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" tour last year, I'll do the card with the new name & logo, but I just wanted to check if you needed the old name too if you are scrapping an old trip? Let me know!

Pebblesmom, you're very welcome :) Enjoy the kitchen sink, it sounds delicious!!!

Thank you for the tips and encouragement! I hope to try them, and Iloveeliot's tips later on today.

Lego Store (just started finding images for these also) Ooh, just got a second idea for this right now and I like it! yes!
Iloveeliot, if possible, can one of these just be for a generic Lego store, or with the Downtown Disney logo for DL? I can find an image of it for you and try and send you a link. We are planning on a few hours there on our trip in May! If not I understand:)

For the lines I always use Times New Roman, font size 12 line spacing size 24. It just looks right to me though I haven't written on them yet. Some cards don't seem to look right to me with lines. Unless they look horrible I usually include the option any way. Sometimes I will pick a line color that is the same color as the background only darker if nothing else looks right. I have also done blue lines over a sky blue background and made the lines over grass a dark green. I seems a bit less distracting that way sometimes. Also if the lines still don't look right I sometimes keep everything the same, switch to a white background behind where the lines would be and add lines. I usually don't like the card as much when I do this but at least people have a line option that looks passable to me. :) Hope this helps!
So very helpful! I was trying to do it with making lines in Elements, and well I can safely say that is not the best way to go about doing it! I am going to try your method today if I can get some computer time in the afternoon.

Thank you all for being so encouraging! I started doing some of my pre-layouts and I am loving how they are looking! Hopefully I will finish at least part of the template before our trip, and then putting in the pictures afterwards will be pretty easy!

This one may seem crazy, but could someone do a card about our favorite apps that we use when planning a trip? Or favorite Disney apps that we use to keep the kids busy in line?
Thank you!

Totally missed the request for the downtown Disney logo in DL. I know I saw it so i'll work on that. I'll try to do that and the Lego card today.

Iloveeliot... to save you the search... I found it very hard to find a clean easy to extract Downtown Disney logo from DL when I did the Rainforest Cafe version, but it is really easy to recreate it using a mixture of Waltograph & Coolvetica (free from dafont). This is the one I did... http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/p...inforestcafe_DL_DowntownDisney_lines.jpg.html It's not identical but it's close enough to be recognisable and waaaaay less work :)

You did not miss it, I just now asked! If it is too much trouble, please don't worry about it!

A keep calm request I have is: Keep Calm and eat Dole Whips!

This would totally make my day:)

Thanks Pixiesprite! I already made it using one I found on Wikipedia. I think it looks ok...I hope.

I made one Lego card already and the Downtown Disneyland card. I really wanted to make another Lego card with the dragon on it but I'm fighting with the extraction. I can't decide if I should just forget that idea, post it the way it is, or keep wrestling with it... I just got one more idea of something to try. Tough extractions stink!

I hope you like these. I'm not sure if the one with the dragon is 100% cleaned up. If you see any problems or need any changes, please let me know.

Special thanks to Scrappin Cop for the use of the lego images!

Coruth4, I'm thinking of reusing the text style from my 1st dining with an imagineer card as I really like the style and want to get it onto a more general card so.... I can give these a go for you. If anyone else also wants to create versions that would be splendid as my list is as long as me arm at the moment!! Mine should be ready for you toward the end of next week-ish :)

Iloveeliot... The Lego dinosaur rocks, I have been meaning to do a card of him for ages but I am soooooo over extractions at the moment. So thank you for him, I'm going to use that card for sure, we always like to visit him to say hi :)

Also.... Just a wee public service announcement from me.... I have used up that part of my creative brain which enjoys extractions, I got a good run at it though!! right now.... The keen sighted amongst you may have noticed me sneaking in replicas of logos done in fonts & disguised to look like the original logo. I'll only do this if they look good, I promise no "Victoria & Albert" written in comic sans or anything :) so.... If anyone is requesting a card and the original logo is super-important-must-be-the-original-or-nothing can you make sure to mention it?! Thanks! I will still be doing some extracting, it's just that the logo extractions are very intense work & they melt your brain after a while, especially when they are quite plain fonts and easy to replicate:coffee: plus the logo replicating is more fun!

I totally get the extraction thing Pixiesprite! They are not fun. I totally cheated on the dragon and I'm hoping I can get away with it since he is small. That is why I put him on another layer of the same picture and increased the transparancy so you could write on it. I wanted to do something else but just didn't want to do anymore cleaning him up. I know I have seen an extracted dragon somewhere when I was downloading paid scrapbooking stuff but I don't know if I downloaded it or not or where it was, or even if I would be able to use it is I found it. Take a break from the extractions. You have made so many beautiful things!

The Harry Potter ones are awesome :)

I don't know if anyone requested these but I know I want a few generic note cards I can use anywhere. Hope you like them :)

dtsz
, here is your 1900 Park Fare Breakfast Card.... I hope you like it :thumbsup2

*********** please see my new thread for cards :upsidedow ***********

After a huge amount of false starts, I opted for a kind of turn of the century Victorian look for the card as it was nigh on impossible to make Alice, the Hatter & Mary Poppins coexist in any kind of sensible fashion on one card. Is there a connection between them all? Why do they do a breakfast together? It's all very strange :) So, in order to create a unified look I went for more stylised Victorian Silhouette Portraits of the three of them. It quite suits the grandeur of the Floridian but it may be completely not what you wanted so I will not be offended if you'd like to ask someone else here to attempt a different style card for 1900 Park Fare!

I might do a dinner version of this card if anyone would like it?

These are really cute!! Thanks for sharing & feel free to jump in and claim any requests that catch your eye :)

**edit - quick question, I just went to download these and when I click on the options link on the individual photobucket pages, nothing appears. Can someone else check if it's just me, please (Iloveeliot's photobucket works for me, I just checked), thank you muchly :)
