Disney 1st Week of March

What is the weather like & crowds

We were there the first week of March this year and the temps were in the high 70s to low 80s, a little humid one day but sunny and bright. The crowds were moderate, not really crowded.

My DD's b-day is March 2 so we are there every year that week. The weather is great, a little chilly at night for us. We live in South Florida though so it's chilly for us. Crowds are great. This year are longest wait for a ride was 15 minutes, for Expedition Everest. Everything else we walked right on or used fast pass and waited no more than 10 minutes. It's a great time to go and we will continue to go then every year.

We went from Feb 28- March 7 this year..and it was the best weather. We literally left snow (we're from NY), and were met with the best weather. High 70's-low 80's ever one of the days we were there, and the crowds were manageable. We found the extra magic nights were a little thick, 15 minute waits..but like 0-5 minute waits on everything else throughout the whole day. This is a must do time of year for us, and there was no rain ever. We never used our jackets..but went with a long sleeve shirt and shorts on 2 evenings...even on ds22 months also. You'll just miss spring break.

We've been to Disney twice during the first week in March, and found crowds to be fairly low each time. It did get much more crowded when that first weekend hit, though.

As for weather, it can be hit or miss. For our first trip, it was downright cold for the first half of our trip. I didn't feel like we had brought along enough warm clothing. It did warm up for the second half. We only got one day when it was warm enough to not freeze in the pool. When we went in '04, the weather was absolutely perfect!!!!

Overall, it's a great time to go. I'm a bit nervous about breaking our trend and going in October this time.
