Disney 1st Week in September

Can anyone tell me about the crowds and weather the 1st week in September?

I've heard they're not bad. We're getting there on the 8th. I'm assuming since the big weekend (Labor Day) is over it shouldn't be bad, especially w/ school being back in session.

Maybe we will run into you at the pool! We are staying at SSR from 9/8-9-14 for our first trip with our kiddos! And we are bringing an uncle and 2 grandparents to boot!

VERY HOT - but the crowds are very manageable. We have went that week 2 or 3 years and you can tell there are more people over the holiday weekend - but they are still very manageable. But it is very hot.

Very hot, but really low crowds, especially after Labor Day.

We went last year, arrived on Labor Day. No one was there, we walked onto everything. And, I agree, it's almost ungodly hot and I love the heat! Take breaks and you'll be fine!

We'll be there the first week of September too! We're from Atlanta so we're used to the heat, but we're hoping the crowds won't be too bad.

I'll be there 09/02-09/06. We are from atlanta as well. We are staying at all stars movies. i am so excited that I am about to brust. I am acting like a 5 year old.

We have went the last week too and the year we did it was actually MORE miserable than the first week. We were talking to a CM and she said it usualy wasn't THAT hot that time of year that it was somewhat unusual....so I think you are risking HOT anytime in September in Orlando.

How fun! We leave on the 13th to head back to GA for a few days before going home. It'll be the 5 of us, my parents, my brother, and my grandma. We plan to spend lots of time at the pool. Are you in a 3BR villa? I wonder if those are all in the same area? I know nothing about going to Disney.

It will be HOTTTT!
But, as a tradeoff, we had some great days with super low crowds last year in September!
We are going back this year, AKL from 9/9-9/17

I'm looking forward to our first Sept. trip in 2008. We'll be going Labor Day week and even though it will be hot, I'm hoping for low crowds and maybe free dining. If not dining, at least we won't have to wait for hours for attractions.
