Do they have a place onboard where we can view the menus for our main dining assignment before we eat there? We are very picky eaters and if they are serving things we dont like we would skip it and eat at the cabanas for dinner. Thank you in advance

Yes, you can get it on the Navigator app for the entire cruise. They also post that night's menu outside of the restaurant if you don't use the app.

Note that: (a) Cabanas is usually a mix of offerings at the MDRs plus possibly a carving station so if you don't like what's on the menus you might find the same problem with Cabanas; and (b) there's always the children's menu at the MDRs (there's always chicken soup on that menu which I had a couple of times) and you can always get a plain salad or Caesar salad even if not on the menu, plus you can ask for sauce on the side or not at all or you can ask to substitute veggies, etc. so there's quite often modifications or other options beyond the regular menu. Or just order a bunch of appetizers instead of entree (done that a few times).

Also note that Cabanas is NOT open for dinner the first or last night of the cruise.

The dinner menus are easily found in the DCL app under dining. The lunch menus aren't so easily found and you may have to go to multiple locations to find something you like. However, the Royal Palace lunch menu is usually posted by the "back door" sometime after breakfast.

If you want to check it out in advance, the Disney CruiseLine Blog has menus. And each night there are "Lighter Note" options -- usually a steak, chicken or fish entree -- with basic rice or potato and veggies, no sauces.

Enjoy your cruise!

Always plain Chicken and Salmon with choice of veggies, rice or potato
Also, menus are usually posted outside of the restaurant

If you don't really like anything they have on the Adult menu order off the kids menu. Or if nothing seems good ask what else could they do. All of my relatively reasonable requests have been honored and a few of the not so reasonable.

Oh ok so if i use the navigator app to check the menus and etc if i switch it back to my regular data usage will it still work when i try to use the app agaiin? I have unlimited data and texting on my plan so i want to use those options while onboard

In general, your regular cell plan will not work on the ship and you will be charged the high rates for Cellular@Sea service. I've read that at least a couple of the major carriers have come out with plans which will give you coverage on certain ships, but I don't believe they are unlimited and you have to pay for them above what you pay for your regular plan.

My recommendation for you is to put your phone into airplane mode while on the ship. You can access the free ship wifi and use the Navigator app. You can sign up for a 50MB plan data plan for free on embarkation day which will cover data usage over wifi for everything beyond the Navigator app, and you can purchase additional data packages if you run through the first 50MB.

I have t mobile and they said i will not be charged for texts or data or roaming only phone calls which i will not be making so i just wanted to know if i turn off the app to use my phone the regular way will i be able to access the app again once we are out to sea or will it stay switched off and i cant go back to it?

As long as you set your phone to Airplane Mode and connect to DCL-Guest WiFi, you will have access to the DCL mobile app.
