WE wore lime green every day of our last two trips, and we never saw another one either! I do know that not all DISsers wear the green either!

I will visit everyday for like a month or so, and then take about 2 weeks off. On average, I visit about 25 times or so a month. I check from both home and work (Have broadband available in both locations). As my trips approach, I am on this board, others on this site, and various other websites 3-5 times daily (usually the 6 weeks leading up to a trip).

I mainly lurk. Just look at the # of posts I have compared to some of you, and compared to how long I been visiting this site.

I read the board daily and I am sure my Guide would thank you all.
Most of the questions I had after buying at SSR in October, have been addressed and answered here...saving my guide from all my phone calls! :)

I am still a little confused about the holding points thing...but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

Thanks again for being here :)

I check in almost every day to see what's new in our part of the world. Sometimes I reply to posts, but mostly I enjoy reading trip reports, rumors, and new developments. Feel like I'm closer to our second home on this board.

I also check at least once a day. Sometimes I eat lunch at my desk at work and read posts then. I hate eating alone - thanks to all for keeping me company !! :teeth:

I read more often as a trip approaches and pay special attention to the post of the place where we'll be staying - even if we've stayed there before!! I know it is a good kind of sickness!!

Thanks to all who have shared info with me and the others who frequent the boards!

And how else would I keep up with how many days until the next trip??

I also check in every day--at home, though, not at work, since I am a public employee(Can't waste a cent of taxpayer money);) I bought in to DVC, but found this site when I wanted to read unbiased comments :earseek: about the timeshare I had purchased.

I think that there are far more DIS people than you think. A recent poll about screen name and number of points owned had 859 posts the last time I looked. While many belonged to "thinkers and renters", many of those were actual members. We are only a small percentage of the overall DVC, but I bet we are the best informed!:chat:

I usually read this board daily. There are three or four others that I'll check once or twice per week.

Initially this board lead to our renting points for two stays at OKW in 2002 and early 2003. Initially we figured we would be happy renting points in the near future, and that ownership may not be right for us.

But, the $10 pp incentive on SSR came at a fortuitous time. The rest, as they say, is history.
