Just wanted to say i'm going to post about our CLUB COOL visit next- I have been behind this week, mostly because I've been in a funk after coming back from HHI- not that DHHIR wasn't awesome, IT WAS! Just 1 or 2 of the peeps there were NOT, and it's taking me a little bit to get over. But I DID have a great time visiting Janie at her beach house at the Jersey Shore this week- even in the rain, it was the best 2 rainy beach days we've ever spent! See you soon!

Yea- that's right- drink up unsuspecting innocent girlie!

We were on our way out of Le Cellier into- what else- the RAIN (although, sitting down there in the Dungeon of Canada, we were all POSITIVE the sun would be shining when we got out!). Oh well, with the water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink, someone casually suggested we head over to Club Cool for some freebie refreshment! It went something like this-

Ellen- ooh! Can we go to Club Cool? I've never been there!

Lonnie- What's Club Cool?

Cammie- Oh it's this great place where you can sample all different sodas from around the world for free.

Kara- Yea, I love all those sodas!!!

Lonnie- Cool! Let's go!

Ok, this is where I have to stop and tell you how the COOLEST person at Club Cool is, 1000%,
CAMMIE!!
Oh, it's scary- she doesn't flinch, she doesn't smirk, she LIES right through her teeth with a straight face and without a hint of hesitation!!! (All for a good cause though!) I've never seen such skill anywhere else in my life. She is utterly diabolical! Cammie, you should STAR on Punked because you have got the rap DOWN!!! She just pretty much ushered Miss-unsuspecting-Lonnie right in and up to the counter-

Cammie (to Loni)- There's a lot of really good ones- some people like the watermelon one, the one from Mexico is very tasty- and a LOT of people like the Beverly, that's very popular, here let's try that one first (as she pours her a cup and hands it out). Cheers!

Ok- just look at Cammie's face in the picture (and sorry about the blurriness- I had the flash turned off accidentally and i was already hysterical, so there's a TON of camera shake going on. Actually, both Kara and i could barely hold it in- but Cammie? She is S.M.O.O.T.H.) !

Actually, lonnie made a MUCH worse face, but I was laughing so freakin' hard I couldn't even push a button on a camera!!!

Aaahhhh...I could spend the whole day watchin' Cammie do that to people!!

And can I add? I did NOT hate the Beverly!!!! It tasted bitter and refreshing to me. I KNOW! When i say I don't like sweet drinks, i am NOT exaggerating!! Crazy, huh?

Anyway, we pulled it together (Lonnie- you were AWESOME!!! Any chance you'll forget all about Club Cool and we can do it to you again next year??? Maybe Joan will miss this post and we can get HER!!!!) and posed for some pics by the topiaries-

BTW - I was going to post my pix from lunch but realized I had the EXACT same ones as you! Same drinks; same food; same kids on a stick. So I refrained.

OK, time for me to weigh in.....

Let's see.... I remember rain. I remember LOTS of rain. Deluge. Monsoon. That kind of rain.

It hit right when we left AK and it was blowing under the bus depot, so we were all basically soaked by the time we got on the bus to Epcot.

And isn't it enjoyable sitting on wet, hard, cold bus seats? You know, people sit down with wet ponchos, and there are puddles everywhere. Or you THINK you are sitting on your poncho, but nooooooo! The poncho has ridden up in the back and you are sitting IN one of the aforementioned puddles.

Yeah. That's where we were.

The walk from the bus to Epcot was along the sidewalk that never ends. I thought we would NEVER get to bag check and much needed cover. But it was only a tease anyway. Because then we had to leave our precious cover and head for the turnstiles.

Have I mentioned it was a tad bit wet?

We trudged all the way through FW to WS and our ADR at LC. At this point the entire park was one big puddle so there was really no point in trying to avoid it. We sloshed. We splashed. And we finally arrived.

Then we drank. And ate.

I think Cammie and Ellen ordered bloody marys....

And Loni and I both got beers - was it Moosehead? LC is the only place outside of Canada where it is served on tap.....

I cannot remember what anyone else ordered, but I got a cup of cheese soup.... so delish and so welcome on this wet, wet day!!!

I ordered the Salmon BLT. Ehhh. It was fine, but it wasn't the same eating at LC for lunch. I couldn't justify ordering the filet, and since that's what LC is known for, it just wasn't the same.

I think someone ordered the creme brulee and chocolate mousse, and of course I just HAD to help them with that!

Now I did not get any pics inside Club Kool - I was laughing waaaaay too hard. Ellen is right - Cammie is way too cool, calm and collected when lying through her stinkin teeth!!!! Ellen and I just hung back while Cammie walked Lonnie through the whole thing!

It's amazing to me that Lonnie didn't catch on - cause Ellen and I were not discreet in our belly laughing!!!

There would be no attractions this day. Did I mention it was wet????

So we headed back to find Lonnie's car. Was it silver or gray? What kind was it?

Anywho..... here we are - the 4 drowned DISmoms!

Up next, BEWARE! I think we each have 50 pictures of one damn giraffe!!!!
