It's just raining here in NJ- we are not going to see the worst of it until midnight- and into tomorrow at noon. But NYC is shut down- no public transportation- freaky stuff.

Of course some idiot Seaside Heights, NJ, business owner said he is staying to make sure his business is ok- on the freakin' BOARDWALK! Way to go, super genius at the Jersey Shore....

We continued our escapades in Epcot by drooling in a window-

Then...well, I'm not sure what was so funny, but I think it had something to do with Evie and her...umm...skills of theatrical walking... but whatever it was that set us off, it just didn't stop...

Oh...it was a scene, man....and a certain DISmom from South Carolina decided she wanted it recorded for all posterity....her modeling skills would NOT be denied!

Thanks- we do like to have a good time, and we really seem to mesh well!

You have to explain to your daughter all the BORING things you would do on a trip without her- endless boring hours in too many restaurants, sitting around the room laughing with your friends, going on different safaris and other educational tours (we didn't this time, but always have in the past), body scrubs and massages at the spa- you know, all the good stuff she would hate and you would love!!

Oh boy... I really need to learn to control myself when you have a camera in hand!!!!

Okay after a long absense, for good reason, I am back with more photos of our adventure. First I am grateful to hear that all my east coasters lived thru the storm not just praying that they make it thru the clean up.

That day walking down Main Street USA....oh boyLord help me if I don't cry everytime I see that castle. Just like a little kid. Litterally...I was skiping.

I love the pirates ride and a good bit of shopping so like Kara said we split up from her and Joan and off went to shop. The line for pirates was so short of course we had to ride it...duh!

Capt'n Jack = My only regret was that there was a tshirt in the gift shop I should have purchased. D'oh! A reason for another trip...

As we made our way thru adventure land on to fantasy land the contruction was moving along. I wish I had packed my stilts to see all of it. LOL The old skyride was coming down to make way for more stroller parking and bathrooms. I hated to see that happen because it was such a neat building.

But before we knew it we were off to tea. I had to try the princess Katherine tea. My DD is a katie and so I 'had' to.

It was a LOT of food. I was crazy for ordering that much but oh that fruit was SOOOOOOO good!

but too soon the tea was over and we had some time to get ourselves off to Epcot. We looked around the Grand Floridian. What a place.. Ellen and I did get a chance to speak with Lynn, a fixture there. She imparted wisdom about teenagers but I forgot it. I was in a food coma....all that cheese.

Soon back to Epcot and another lovely dinner....

We did concoct some fun stories while there with Nenner1....so glad to meet her and Savannah! That night was fun dancing and laughing. Really this was one of the best things I have EVER done. What a trip. It helped re-center me.
