Checking the bank account now.:lmao:
Hey girl! missed ya'll too! I'll have tosee if I can find some of those halloween pics.
It's been o.k. here. Kind of the norm for us. HECTIC like crazy!! I''m working a lot right now trying to get some of our debt caught up. Thank God the school is using me pretty reg and I'm helping my Bro out. And doing a few odd jobs here and there. Dh got called for another possible kidney Sat. But the tissue didn't match. DH has been sick a lot lately. But the good news is he's making As and 1 B in everything but Math and the teacher told him as long as he comes to class if it's a D or lower she'll give him an IP and he will retake it next semester. he had a WAY too full schedule this Sem and classes on Dialysis days just NEVER work out great but anyway. He had several pics featured at an Art show this week and it turned out pretty good. He's already had a few people asking about getting Christmas pics done.

Oh WOW!!! i wish they'd extend that through AUG since that's when we are supposed to go!!!
Aw, I'm sorry it wasn't a match. That must be so frustrating.

Yay for all A's and a B. That's really good!
The boys ran in our School districts Kids Fun Run tonight. it's a mile course. Tyler placed 24th out of kids from 2 schools 1st thru 3rd grade. Braeton came in last of course. BUT even though we did cut through part of it or B would be in pretty bad shape he did run/walk through almost 3/4 of a mile. They were actually taking down the course as we were going through it. He fell several times but most of the time would push my hands away saying. Never Give up I can make it if I NEVER give up!! he een lost his shoe 2xs!! But when we got to the last part people all gathered around and were clapping and cheering as he went through. He was so worn out but when he heard them cheering for him he got energy and ran those last few steps!!So at the end as they gave out the medals and ribbons (They gave medals out for the first 10 of every grade and also seperated by boys and girls.) Braeton got his ribbon and then they called him to his PE teacher and she placed a medal around his neck. I bawled!!! I'm so PROUD of him.
Oh my gosh! Tell him I'm proud of him, too! And of Tyler! Seems like B is doing so much better. That's awesome that he was able to do that!

First -- hello everyone!

I tried to do a quick skim and gave up. I did see Braeton's story (yeah for him and sob, sob for me while reading it) and I see that Nikki is back (woo hoo!). For those who are sick -- hope you get better. I caught a cold too and bummer since we were on vacation but we still had fun.

OK, gotta do laundry and then unpack...well, actually in reverse order...

You'll be proud of me...I actually went to CHURCH two weekends ago. Not my church (I was baptized Catholic), but it was at least a church. I'm in the process of looking for a non-denominational church to join.

Eh...maybe a little. I haven't been in trouble for like a week now.:lmao:

I miss you too! How is the kids' board going? Do they like it?

Yes, PM me!

Oh, poor Tyler. What's his temperature? Maybe he'd feel better with a little tylenol or something.

WOw Nikki, that is great

Hey Marshay. Welcome back. Glad to hear you had a good time

WHen you get a chance, we would love to hear some details, I know I would at least, being Sharky and all :lmao:

WOW!!! DH and I took advantage of this same deal when they offered it back in 2003. It is so awesome that they are offering it again, and of course that means, they are hurting, so great incentives!

I sooooo would love to go...hmmm....not sure how to do it...

Well I have to cook dinner now. I will kick which ever child is on the computer downstairs off so I can rejoin you.
Ok, cool. I'll be around for awhile. I took a nap after work so I'll be up late again tonight.
Aren't kids wonderful? I copied your story and emailed it to Scotty because he is at work and Braeton inspires him as much as he does me.
And me.:goodvibes
They don't use it much. I realized I was posting more than them so I just disappeared hoping that they might start using it if I wasn't on there. I haven't checked it for a few days so who knows.

I'll bet you were as happy about the election results on Tuesday. There was a proposition that passed on our ballot that I didn't agree with but this is too polite of a place for me to discuss it.
Well, that stinks. I think they are more fun than the giant public ones, but what do I know?

I was I was! Yeah, I think I know what you were talking about, and if I'm right I was none too happy about it either. I think anyone and everyone should be able to marry whomever they please. Another issue I think the government needs to keep their noses out of.
That would be a lot of fun. You are right, you do so much driving as it is, just drive on down

But no texting, got it :rotfl2:
I'll have to do that some weekend when I'm bored. I'm known for grabbing the kids and just leaving for the weekend. That's what I did the other weekend when we went to Gettysburg. That was a 3 hour trip. What's another hour and a half. Do you have any nice hotels close to you?

It might be hard not to text. I can't remember the last time I was in the car and didn't text somebody.:lmao:

Your wish is my command!:worship: :rotfl2:

I'll post pics and more details later, but here's a mini-recap:

Very similar in feel (not in execution though) to Disney. Food was bad. Room was better than a regular room at Disney. The wristband that also doubles as your room key and card for charging was a TERRIFIC invention and something Disney definitely needs to do. Waterpark is really cool but not a lot for young kids (or pregnant women).

My overall opinion: We will definitely be back, esp when DD is older!!

You hit the nail on the head. The county we live in is the only couty still handing out amrriage licences and performing the ceremony's they say that they will until they are told by the state to stop. Yay for my county. I think that it is a prejudice like any other.

Are we bad mouthing soaps? I am an ABC soap junkie. Drives DH crazy - but I got to have it! I blame in on my mom since they were playing in the house the whole time I was growing up. General Hospital was the only place I ever heard the name Laura until high school!!!!

I am almost done shopping! :cool1: I have been trying to do a little bit at a time while the kids are at school. Ainslee's were mostly internet orders because she is all about American Girl stuff this Christmas!!

That's a bummer that Trent found his present. Aidan and Ainslee found the stuff I bought for Abby, so now that stuff will be from them to her.:rolleyes1

I am running out of hiding spots! :sad2:
Well, I hid the Wii at my mother in law's. That was AFTER Joe took it out of the box to play with it. You know he had to try it out.:lmao:

Hey how's it going?

I must have missed that you were on vacation. Where did you go?

It is. I may have to start working my second job more often.

We went to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg for 3 nights. DH finally got a job and starts on Monday so we know we won't be able to vacation for a while and then baby will take up those vacation days .... hence, the quick get-away.

If you aren't familiar with these resorts they are definitely not cheap, we paid $219/night but that included a breakfast buffet each day, a semi-private room (meaning there was a 1/2 wall to divide the sofa bed from the 2 queen beds), fridge, microwave and large indoor waterpark. So if you figure that it would cost at least $20-30/pp for the waterpark and $30/day for the buffet for 3 people, it makes it more affordable.

We are glad we went and of course, just getting away from home for a few days was nice.

I'm glad you're so open minded about it. That's another issue I feel very strongly about. Probably why I stay out of the political threads. I'm pretty sure I'd be banned by now for telling some of the people off. I can't believe I never got points for telling off the guy who said we all knew we didn't want black people living near us. We got our posts removed and I'm pretty sure he either got points or banned, but I didn't get a thing.:confused3

You know what I got the top of the page on the last three pages. I am setting a trend here. Tryong to build up those posts you know. Hey Nikki did you check out my pictures of northern California?

I am opened minded I feel that all prejudice is wrong no matter how nicely it is dressed.

Yeppers, there are two nice hotels in my town actually. Lost of business people stay in them. Two restaurants there, too.

Come one down, next time you get a whim.

Yeah, I am same way, but I try and do it quickly while stopped at a light :rotfl2:

I've definitely heard of it, but never stayed there. I haven't been to Williamsburg since I was pregnant with Kyleigh.

Oh, I thought you were talking about Water Country! I couldn't imagine that they were still open!:rotfl: And did you do Busch Gardens? I haven't been there in 9 years, so I'm excited to see your pictures if you did!!!

I'm so glad your husband got a job! That's awesome news. And great timing on it, too. It would have stunk if he was out of work for the holidays.

Your room sounds really nice! How was the breakfast buffet?

Hey Chele!

OK, getting a snack and then going to bed! Really, I am!:goodvibes

Well it was nice seeing you. Maybe tomorrow or the next day once you have rested we can catch up.

No -- where are they? RB? Here? I'll have to look.

I will definitely give you a call and visit ya! I hate being bored on the weekends! Joe will think I've officially lost my mind.:lmao:

Oh, Marshay, I didn't realize you already said the food was bad. I just took my meds, so they'll be kicking in shortly.:rotfl:
