Yes, I have to admit I downloaded that new HSM3 song from Itunes :rolleyes1
I am doing the dreaded coat shopping this week too! DD is barely fitting in last years so I guess it's time. You are right, coats are expensive...especially when they are wore for a few months and then retired!

We have a couple wears out of our costume too...that makes me happy :thumbsup2

Ha ! The kids keep asking me if we are getting the dvd. So I am thinking soundtrack for Christmas.

I usually shop in the spring for coats when they are on sale and get really good deals. Last year however, I was broke (thank you Disney). So this year I am out of luck :sad2:

I forget, how old is your DD? We are making "slight" improvements. She is still wetting the bed once a night (:headache: ) but is waking up in the morning and going straight to the potty to pee. Before we started all this, she would just go in the diaper.

So I feel like it's good for us to keep doing...Someone else told me to give it about 2 weeks. My fear is that when she pees in her sleep, she doesn't realize it and then she isn't learning anything and just ends up sleeping in a wet bed.

I think I need to buy some goodnights or underjams or something...need to check it out.

But I do give all KUDOs to my hubby who has gotten up every night to change the sheets thus far (embarrassed to say that I've slept through it all -- never even heard my DD crying)

I think what you are doing is great! Any items that you can use for real (ie an actual deck of cards instead of just a photo) are MUCH better. Check out the dollar store and you may be able to find a lot.

Don't forget any DVDs/Videos or children's books on Alice in Wonderland (keep the receipts and don't open them up and then you can return them).

What about music? How about taping some of the dialog/songs and having it play in a boom box/ipod for background music?

I do hope the company can keep you on longer or else you find something else to do.

I was working all night but thought I would comment quick on this. I'll comment on everything else tomorrow. Great pics OB and Betsy!

Anyway I went to Dollar stores and got decks of those big oversized cards for people who can't see well and I got some silk roses and I got an oval mirror for the looking glass. I went on Utube and got songs like a Very merry UnBirthday and put them on my quick list so will play those. I got construction paper to cover a coffee can to be a can of red paint and I got a paint brush and got red tissue paper to put inside the can to look like paint. I also bought some different hats for the Mad Hatter. I also printed out pictures of the Queen of hearts, the knaves painting the roses red and a poster of the Alice in Wonderland movie.

Since I am not being kept on, I kind of lost my enthusiasm so that is about us about all I am going to do.

Ok, some of these are blurry because my batteries were dying in the camera. Sorry about that!

OMG! She is the cutest thing ever.

Those pumpkins look like a lot of work. We haven't carved ours yet:scared1:

OB -- cute multicolor hair on your DD!

Thanks!

You wish. I'm trick-or-treating until I'm out of college.

Ha Ha :lmao: Love it!!

DH has a job!!! He decided to take the job with a chance at management in 6 months. It's about 30 minutes or so away so much closer than the other one.

His boss said that in 6 months if he does a good job, he could have a merit review (ie salary increase).

He starts Nov 10th. So that actually gives us some time next week to get away for a few days. We considered going to WDW but only have 4 days available and flights were too expensive.

So instead we booked 3 nights at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. This is a resort with a huge indoor water park. I've never been to one of these before but heard it's a lot of fun. 85 degrees, lots of slides, lazy river, wave pool, etc. and they have a spa that does pregnancy massages so I am getting one too!

It wasn't cheap but includes breakfast, waterpark, lots of children's entertainment and a semi-private living room (there is a 1/2 wall that separates our bed from the sofa bed).

I'm excited ... I love just being able to get away so this will be fun.:cool1:

And tomorrow, we go for our 20 wk u/s ... we'll find out whether our girl "grew anything she wasn't supposed to in the last 5 weeks" :rotfl2:

Congrats Marshay on DH's job and the trip. Hope ya'll have fun!

I am not a huge sports fan either, but it was so exciting and so intense. SO incredible and glad I got to witness it. The celebration on Broad street is incredible. There are about 10,000 people out there. It is going to be a long and exciting night there for sure:goodvibes

You know I was watching it as we were chatting during the game. It was awesome! I was so excited but there was no one here to share it with so luckily Kelly and I were watching together. I wish I was up there because the excitement would have been so much more being there. Obviously living in FL right now it's hard to find someone to get excited with, lol. I would have been outside with fireworks just like everyone else if I were there!

Go Phillies! :worship: :thumbsup2  :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2:

PHILLIES DID IT~!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEY HAVE FINALLY WON WORLD SERIES AFTER 28 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE JUST SET OFF ABOUT 2000 FIRECRACKERS
SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Cool!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

A mansion sounds nice:goodvibes

It was pumpkin day at school. He said he had a blast.

They drew on pumpkins with markers, pumpkin bowling and made "dirt" cake with worms in it. He had fun making it, but refused to try it. He is so picky

But he said he had a blast:goodvibes

Dance party sounds fun:cool1:

Oh that sounds like fun. I would have eaten his "dirt" cake for him :lmao: I am not that picky.

Glad he had a good time.

It was fun. DD had the best costume there. I'm not biased or anything :rotfl: But hello --- there were 3 Gabriella's.

I bet she did look great!! Do you have a pic?

Hm ...camera is out in the car. Will have to wait till tomorrow. I am so fried. Sorry. Alarm is set and I am dreading just getting out of this chair. I will post pics tomorrow so you can see in the afternoon.

I don't know how you night owls do it. :goodvibes

Anyone else having problems with internet tonight? Unbelievably ---the only thing that is running smoothly is the DIS. Everything else takes forever to load or gives me an error :confused3

Oh crud. I always thought you had to be up early. I was like --- Man how does she do it?!?! You have ruined some of my awe for the Sharky :lmao:

I don't know it's kinda weird and now that I am working from home and I am not real knowledgable (sp?) about internet security or our wireless network-- so I am spooked so I think I will shut down my computer for the night.

I have got to go --- my eyes are crossing. Good night Sharky. Give Trent a squeeze from me ;)

Oh, I did not kno you were working from home. Is that all the time or just some of the time? That is great:goodvibes

Just make sure your computer has a virus protection program and you should be fine:goodvibes

Good Night.

Do the same for me with Bird and Teddy:goodvibes

Halloween Party pics!

For today's party, DD wanted to be a Tiger. Here she is marching in the costume parade.

And then I asked DH to take a pic of me and baby -- remember I'm only 19 weeks!! :scared1:

Very cute :thumbsup2 you both look great!

SOmeone has been bugging me, but she shall remain nameless;)

:rotfl2:

Anyway, here are a few pictures from Family Pumpin Carving nite at the school:

Here is Trent and hubby after design was picked out and taped to the pumpkin:

DSCI0319.jpg

Here is one with Trent being silly:

DSCI0318.jpg

They made one of the teachers a mummy and the kids were laughing so hard it was deafening, literally

Here are a few shots of that

The lighting was kind of bad in this first shot

DSCI0328.jpg

Here is a better one

DSCI0332.jpg

Here is one with Trent next to the finished pumpkin. To tell what it is, you really have to stare at it

DSCI0337.jpg

Once we lit it up, I thought it looked great. Hubby did all the work and boy were his arms and wrist sore

DSCI0339.jpg

The pumpkin looks great Sharky. Tell your DH he did a great job!

Hey Everyone :wave2:

I'm just hopping in from here!

Marshay - LOVE the pics! Your DD is such a sweetie and you are absolutely glowing :goodvibes

Laura - Your pics are great! SO CUTE! Thanks for sharing!

Hi MomMom - I see your light on :goodvibes

Hi to everyone else too!

Have I missed anything big?

Hi Betsy!

:car: Hello... it is me... doing a drive by. I am sure I've missed a gazillion pages and I don't have time to catch up right now. But I saw Michele posting and I just wanted to say I'm glad you're hand is feeling better!

I've been busy subbing since last Wed. for a teacher that is in the hospital... could be another 2 weeks before she's back. It is in the AU (autism) classroom and it is exhausting... but lots of fun too! I'll try and catch up soon!

Miss y'all! :goodvibes

Hi Love. Glad to hear you are able to be making some extra $ even if it is exhausting. Hope that teacher gets better but for now I know it's good for you to be there :thumbsup2

I came home with a bag full of swag. Oprah gave us these really nice canvas bags, with a journal and a ball point pen. Plus a coupon for $10 off lunch wich covered the awful $10 sandwich.

I got a make up and facial care make over from Loreal Paris and advice on what hair dye color I might want to pick. Plus free samples of stuff like wrinkle cream and lotions and things.

Intel had the best stuff. I got a bicycle backpack full of things. Like this really cool weighted hook that you put on the table when you eat out to hang your bag on. And a light up ball point pen, a note pad, a container full of blue and white M&M's, a magnetic travel dart set, and a document holder for your desk.

We got dove chocolates and Luna bars. Oh and a Suze Orman book and another book about dogs from Bissel vacumns.

There is other stuff but I am at a loss right now.

Stacy is this little bit of nothing she had on five inch heels and was average height. I was amazed at how short Oprah is. We also saw Chef Art Smith but for some reason I didn't take pictures of him.

Wow Chele! I love all the pictures you posted and it sounds like you got a lot of really cool stuff! Glad you had so much fun!

Good Morning OB! How cool, our first Halloween picture posting. I love it. We are supposed to dress up Friday in a movie theme and decorate our cubicle to match the them. I am going to be tweedle dum and hang some Alice in Wonderland pictures around but I was going to go buy more props to decorate with now I've lost my interest as I found out I did not get extended another month due to budget cuts at this company. I am so bummed out :sad2: :sad1: I had hoped they'd keep me at least another month. I need Christmas money and then money to hold me over when I am not working to pay my personal bills.

Please keep your fingers crossed everyone that the agency finds me something new Monday. Thanks ladies & gentlemen, of course, lol.

Major bummer that they are not keeping you on next month. So sorry to hear that. I hope the agency has something else for you soon :goodvibes

So sorry they are not keeping you for another month QM. That sucks. Will keep my fingers crossed for you :thumbsup2

Hey not just the kids--- Leger and Cheri if you are dressing up -- we want to see those too!

Where is Cheri anyway?

Nah, not dressing up. Haven't been invited to any parties this year. I think we're just having a couple of friends over to play video games tomorrow. :confused3

I think Cheri has been busy with work lately and she's been getting ready for her In-Laws to visit. They are coming to town I believe today for her DH's birthday tomorrow.
