Thanks...I really needed that. I have even cried like three times in the last two days and I am not a crier.

I went to the Orthopedic DR yesterday for my carpal tunnel and I am having my surgery on Monday. I was amazed I have an HMO and usually you are waiting in line behind 50 other people but it is so severe he wants to get it done. That is my high point.

I have it in both hands but the left is only moderate. So we are only doing the right as far as I know. He gave me two braces so we may be doing both. If I can't type my kids can. Kody would love it because then she could put her two cents worth in. Especially since I told her she isn't allowed on the thread if she is only posting pictures. But if it is only my right hand I was typing one handed a year ago because my right hand was paralyized at this time last year. It's all good.

Braeton goes in the Hospital tomorrow for the Epilepsy screening. I found out today that it will be videoed LUCKY me!! AND he can not have any covers while sleeping!!!! zi am trying to find a small something like a mini blanket that he can at least hold.

We did go buy him some new pjs for his stay. He got Batman jammies with the cape. he's so excited although I figure this cape will go the same way his supermanone did. With the wind!!!

Good afternoon friends! Just got back from getting the girls their flu shot. The 4 year old cried like someone was beating her, the 7 month old - not a peep. I kept making ridiculous faces at her and she didn't even notice! After Aidan is done with school today I need to take him over. He will probably be the worst of them all!

Well - our weather took a nasty turn today, just as predicted. 55 and raining. Yuck! Dh and I had our first of many "Should we move?" conversations! We do this every winter.

I hope your surgery goes well...I'm not familiar with Carpal Tunnel surgery...what will they have to do? cut the muscle?

Ok I have to tell a funny story from today!

I pick Aidan up from school and we are headed straight to Ainslees dance class. He tells me that he thought of a new song while he was at school. So he starts singing - "I love Mickey. We should go to Disney. I love Mickey. I miss Disney!!"

Apparently even Kindergartners daydream about Disney!!!!

LeeLee, apparently when browsing to sort of catch up I must have missed something. I had no idea Braeton was going for epilepsy screening. I am wondering if he's going through the same thing my son did, twice, to find out where his seizures were coming from, which side of the head. Is that what they will be looking for with Breaton? He too was video taped. I hope you can find something soft that he can cuddle as he sleeps!

I think the PJs sound adorable and I am sure that cape will disappear shortly, lol. Please let me know how he makes out!

It's hard to be motivated when you have so much else going on. I know you are crazy busy all the time with work and all. Chris doesn't have any will power either. He's sucking mine from me at the moment. Trying to stay in the weight loss game though. I again wish we were closer...I'd come over and work out with ya. Now that you have your AP's you could always go and just walk around a Disney park for exercise!

I know how you feel about Chris sucking your will power. I did so good yesterday and then got home and Bryan made a decent dinner, not too bad calorie wise but he gets up and comes back and reloads my plate with more mashed potatoes and more chicken and since he put it there. I ate it. Then tonight he takes me out to dinner, goes to KFC for one of their buffets. I only ate wings so they aren't bad, only had one small helping of mashed potatoes and some cinnamon apples, not too awfully bad, then we're driving home and he pulls into Dairy Queen, wants a blizzard so I ended up getting a small one. But small or not, I did not need those extra calories. I can't say no when its handed right to me.

I wish you lived closer too, it was be great to have you as a diet buddy and work out partner, it makes it easier to endure with a partner. Not so sure about walking around one of the parks, maybe as the humidity leaves I can do it, but spent a lot of time on scooters this trip. I feel out the camper door one day, right down the steps and really messed up my knee even worse than it already is and could barely walk so I rode a scooter around the parks most of the week. Not too much calorie burning going on then. But actually I lost 5 lbs during the trip as I was too busy to eat too much! So that may be the trick, keep busy!
