I was thrilled to find out yesterday we are still going to have the same medical coverage next year. I was so afraid that with all of the companies cost cutting that we would lose it.

How is DD feeling?

DD is good -- I can tell since she's getting into more trouble now with her running around and pesting the cats!

I did really good at the sale. I sold at least $25 if not $50 of my own stuff and bought some clothes for baby (since she will be March and DD was a July baby) and then some Legos, puzzles, games and books for DD. We let her have some of them now but most of the stuff I'm saving for Christmas, Valentines, Welcome New Baby and Easter stuff. I feel like we saved a ton and with what I sold, it only ended up costing me about $20-40. So now I have all my DD's Christmas presents covered.

We had a great time and the weather was wonderful! It rained today but that's okay since we were just going to the aquarium and then on toward home. The other 2 days were perfect! The kids actually got to play in the surf yesterday. I really thought it would be too chilly but they didn't seem to mind. I guess the water is about 75 degrees right now... about the same as the air temp was. Anyway... I took lots of pictures and I'll post some and tell you everything we did if y'all want me to.

Hi All!

We went to Scotty's company picnic today. It was fun. The food was awful but they had carnival games and I came home with 5 stuffed animals, 3 pin wheels, 2 necklaces that Kody and Loren made for me, spin art pictures, and a family picture minus Kacy who had a band review out of town. Which her band won Grand Sweepstakes! And I forgot but I got my face painted too.

Oh, did you get a pic of your face paint? What did you do?

We went to a festival a few weeks ago and DH, DD and I all got our faces painted...DH got a teddy bear on his cheek; DD got Nemo on hers and my whole face was a peacock. I'll look to see if I still have the photos.

Our day was fun! We ended up going to the mall after the party for a Pumpkin decorating activity. The rest of the day we did lazy too and it was nice!

Great news about the sale! Somehow I missed that you are having a girl That is great news! My DD was born March 24th! Good idea on saving some things for upcoming holidays. Wow, that is not much at all to spend and have all of Christmas covered...awesome job

Yes, I was very relieved when I saw how we were decorating the pumpkins! DD was confused because she wanted to carve a Mickey and Buzz pumpkin this year. I kept trying to explain this was just a different activity and we would carve more at home. She did not give up...hence the Mickey on the pumpkin

I will have to post pics of our Mickey and Buzz one's after they are done!

Leger -- we change over time ... and I believe we'll get even better in the future...don't be discouraged but accept who you are in the inside and then if/when you are ready to make other changes, they will happen when you act on them.

Yes, I was shocked how well the stickers worked. They were actually made for pumpkins though. I asked about them about them and they got them at Michael's. I was very impressed! I know DD decorated a visor a few weeks a go with the foam and it all fell off...I was expecting the same with the pumpkins but it worked much better! Let me know how the party goes!

Morning All!

I've been lazy this morning and spent a good while searching the net for a Mickey Halloween shirt. I am so mad that I did not get one while at Disney but I thought they were too expensive. I'm attempting to make my own with a design for the DISign board. I have never made a tshirt with iron on and I'm a little worried I'll mess it up.

Who is the expert here? I know QM made them but since she's away...I need help!!!!!

I think DH is getting mad because I've been on the PC too long so I'm going to head out for a little while

Betsy your daugther is beautiful. That would be totally awesome if they could be friends years from now. My sister and her BFF have been friends since before they were even born (our mothers went to the same church) and now even though they dont see each other a lot they still keep in touch and its been 15 years.
