Thanks for the info on the peaches -- I completely agree. I was trying to analyze this today and what it comes down to is differing parental styles -- do you teach your kids or do you rely on others to change for you? I've always been the former.

Well, I need to do some major cropping on the first preggie pic. I asked DH to take a sensible pic that I could post on the internet and did he?? No. I'd get kicked off. So we'll redo.

I slept straight through last night -- except for getting up to pee but that's just a normal pregnant thing!

We'll be waiting for the DIS friendly picture, lol, men, what are they thinking sometimes? :confused3

I went in this morning for my cervical exam (everything good!) and asked if they can see sex of baby (I'm 15 wks, 3 days) and they could!!

Here is what we saw!

Wow things have improved so much since the days when I was having kids. Congratulations on finding out the sex now you can prepare for the baby. I have a funny story about finding outt eh sex with an ultra sound. Kody's best fried in kindergarten was an adorabe girl but her parents had been told she was going to be a boy so when she was a baby her nursery was all boyish, and her carseat etc.. When her parents had her sister they wouldn't believe the ultra sound.:rotfl: Not that I blame them at all.

I hear ya!!

I did ask the tech -- there is no way that the thing we see as a girl part (*****) could actually grow into something else, could it? Tech laughed and said, no, she was confident since she saw the *****.

Ok, so we're going to do the room in girl theme. DD's is a garden of flowers and butterflies, ladybugs, etc. Green grass on the bottom and blue sky.

We had painted the nursery blue so I think we'll use the blue for the sky again and the lower part for water - not sure if we'll do ocean or pond or jungle...I've seen some really cute borders at Lowe's where they have the same theme (like frogs or monkeys) but they do it in blues or pinks or neutrals so you can match to whatever you're having (or even if you aren't finding out).

Now comes the really exciting time. Decorating the nursery and getting everything ready can be so fun. Just don't overdo it. I am sorry I have such bad Mommy tendancies, I want to Mommy everyone. There are days like today I would love to have another baby. Like today. We were at Baby's R Us recently and they have the cutest clothes, especially lttle girl stuff. But Stephanie is having a boy. This is the first time I have ever been in the store. Wow there is so man choice of things now. Wow.

Marshay, I already said it on the Adventurosity thread...but you deserve PLENTY of...

CONGRATULATIONS
on your baby girl!

This is going to sound funny, but it makes me feel very grown up to be going on a business trip. :lmao: I've been in the professional world for several years, but this just solidifies that I'm a "business woman." I feel like Nikki now ;)
:lmao: I've never thought of myself as a "business woman." I also think going out of town can sometimes be a big pain in the you know where. On my first business trip, I ended up hearing the song "Circle of Life" on the radio and started bawling right there at work because I missed my kids. Now I like getting away from them every once in awhile.
WHAT??? Sharky went to be early?!?!

Tat and Cheri ~ Have good, safe trips! :goodvibes

Betsy! I missed her send off! I hope she has fun!

Lastly... ORANGIE! I've missed you.
I'm back! I'll be gone again next week and the week after, though.
Hi Love!!!!

Yeah, it was so weird being in bed before 1am:rotfl2:

I am off to take Trent to school now.

Have a good day all

:grouphug:
OMG, I was in bed at 7:00. Didn't actually go to sleep till 8:30, though. Back up for about an hour at 3 a.m., then slept until 7:30. I love business trips.
Um pass on the crabs
:rotfl2:
you mean you don't want my crabs?
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
y'all get a present..

right now....quiet! :goodvibes

Sorry it took me so long to reply but I had kids to pick up from school. No matter how tempted I may be to leave them there some days. :lmao: Is quiet good? I mean sometimes quiet is boring so to me it isn't good and other times quiet is wonderful and relaxing.

My first time in Babies R Us was a complete eye opener!!! I didn't realize you can fill up an entire warehouse with just things to buy for baby!

Actually, we won't be doing any decorating yet...but as soon as we hear word on a job for DH, I'm going to go back and look at those borders from Lowes (and then of course, buy them cheaper on the 'net).

Yeah, little girl stuff is sooooo much cuter than boy...

I understand completely. I was actually amazed because I really don't think that the clothes for little ones has gone up that much. Good luck to DH on the job hunt.

thanks! I am thrilled about it!

I just need to get some type of plug thingie (the kind that extends a regular plug into 2 or 3 plugs...what is that called?) so that I can sit on the bed with the laptop. It does not hold a charge for some reason.
And I don't want to turn off the lamp or the alarm clock. If I had to choose it would be the lamp (obviously) but I'd rather not unplug it. So I have to find a dollar store today! (or Walmart...but I'd rather not ;))

poor B...hope today goes better!

thanks! Sorry I missed this last night

I actually slept very well :goodvibes

awww..sorry you had such a rough day/night

hope to hear from you today!

So what are your plans for this weekend?

:rotfl2: :lmao:
Glad you slept good!!:thumbsup2 Sometimes it takes me a while in a new place. Other times I crash!! Guess it depends on how my boys were that day!!:rotfl2:

Braetons mood has been much better today. I subbed at his school and actually took the lunch duty of the assistant to the teacher of whom I was subbing for so she could have a break for once and it happened to be his lunch AND on his side. He did pretty good with that surprisingly.:goodvibes We've had to make a tough love rule and that is if he does not cry or scream when he sees me then his teacher will allow him to stop and I can hug him. if he does not behave then all we can do is wave and he has to go on. Soo I was able to help him with his lunch etc... AND he got to spen the last 20 min of the day with me and the third graders in music!!! He felt like such a BIG BOY!!!:cool1:
Unfortunatly his balance and coordination have gotten much worse and he ended up in the w/chair the WHOLE day. Every time he's tried to walk he's fallen. Then we got home and he NEVER uses the chair here. Of course he hasn't had to use the chair all day in a looooonnnng time. Anyway he tried to walk 3 steps to me and he fell and busted his cheek on the computer. Why it was pulled out a little bit from the desk I don't know, but now BOTH cheeks are bruised with a little cut on one his forehead, back, chest arms and bootie all have bruises on them. I am now carrying him everywhere. He said he would crawl so maybe that will work. I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm panicking too much, hence the carrying, but he can NOT suffer any more damage to his head and he's hit his head at least 5 times today that I know of. I'm watching for all the signs that I'm supposed to take him immediatly to the Dr for but if he stays like this tomorrow he is definatly going if I have to take him AND demand to see the Dr. Not that I would have to. If I show up he is one of the priorities simply because I don't take take advantage of that usually.
Sorry for ranting, I don't usually get this pent up but with all these siezures and now this lately and DH getting worse I gues I'm a little nervous:rolleyes: and I'm taking it out on you guys. I am the calm of the storm in my family so I guess you guys get the waves and thunder from me!!!;)

Sorry for taking advantage of you all!! But thank you all for always being there. :grouphug: Any of you that pray PLEASE pray for my Husband and Braetons healing but more than anything Gods will and also pray for Tyler who hets the short end of the stick and me that I would have the strength and wisdom to know what to do.

WHEW with all that I'm gonna get you all prayed up huh????

Wow, what got you out of bed at that hour?

Yeppes and 6 more days till we leave! :cheer2: :woohoo:

Can I still hide in your suitcase??????;)

Oh I kNow I love little girl stuff. I wanted Braeton to be a girl so bad but of course I wouldn't trade my little guy for anything!!! So I just have to grab a niece every now and then when I get that "urge"!!!

LeeLee,
I am praying for you and the family. My husband does too because I shared your story with him I hope you don't mind.

Plenty of "what" on my baby girl? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

:rotfl:

I swear that said "congratulations" at first...

My laptop has been going NUTS though...it has a mind of its own today!!

seriously...it has printed a couple of things that I didn't want to print. It closed out the DIS earlier. It was opening emails I didn't want to read yet. A bit freaky! :scared1:

(actually, I think the voice command was on and it was hearing things...:rotfl: Because once I closed the little microphone thingie in the corner, it stopped all that :confused3)
