From what I hear getting in to the Price is Right is hard. I don't know much about the Late Show. I want to see Ellen. If you really want to get excited visit youtube and watch Disneyland videos. That will do it for sure. I have a favorite website I visit for pictures if you are interested in it.

oh really? Guess I'll have to do more research about that. And the Late Show too. Oh Ellen tapes out there too? Not sure if Chris would go to that one :rotfl: I would love to though. What about Oprah? Since we'd be out there before christmas maybe we could get in on one of her shows where she gives a bunch of stuff away. One can dream. Oh I went on youtube and watched the video from the haunted mansion holiday. That looks amazing. And I watched a video of it's a small world from christmas too. Chris says it spoils things so he never wants to watch any of that stuff but it really gets me pumped. I'd love to have the link to the photo web site. Thanks!

His pictures range from Disneyland and the other theme parks in the area.

I think Oprah tapes in Chicago. I am going to one of her confrences with a good friend in October. We bought our tickets in like late July or early August. There are a series of seminars. I am pretty excited. Scotty is the same way he doesn't like to watch the videos and I could watch them for hours.

thanks for the link. oooohhh yeah chicago is right. whoops lol. the confrence sounds fun. lol guess its a guy thing

Yeah probably but I always considered it a dork thing. He doesn't get as excited as I do either. When you do plan your trip you need to plan on one expensive lunch at the Blue Bayou inside of Pirates od the Caribbean. I consider it a must do if only for dessert. Only I wouldn't do dinner because I consider their dinner to be way over priced.

I forgot to mention that they make it snow at firework time too. And special fireworks for the holidays and the festive smells that they literally pipe in.

well, I plan on doing the dining plan so even if that resturant isn't on the plan we'll be sure to check that place out. I'll have to set aside some $ for it for sure. I'd love to eat inside pirates. That just sounds like fun!! Sounds like better than eating inside cindy's castle. Thanks for the tip :thumbsup2

oh man that sounds so magical. I really can't wait to see it!! Just going to be amazing. Part of me wants to go on xmas day but I kjnow it would be SLAMED. I would rather go at a time where it won't be crowded. So going just before xmas is going to be great for us.

The dining plan at Disneyland is different than at WDW. The Disneyland is like a coupon thing and everything is dollar to dollar what you pay in. And you don't get change if you have like a $12 bill and use a $15 voucher. The thing I like is that it is a good way to set aside your money for food, but for other than that well most people who have done it don't like it.

oh man that totally sucks. I wonder why they don't do it the same as the dining plan at WDW. That's why I figured it would be good to do the dining plan to not have to worry about setting aside miney for food while we're there. I think we may do it anyways and make sure we get our $ worth out of it. I just don't want to have to worry about buying food while we're there and allotting $ for it. That was such a pain while we were at WDW this past week. I think that's one of the major reasons why we didn't have that great of a time. Most of our money went to food.

Thank you. I figured it was time to get festive.

You're welcome

I agree with you on buying the meal plan and I want to do it next time we go. The last time we went it seemed like we were constantly putting more money into food. Or things that really ticked me off like Kody fell in love with the DIsney Crocs so she convinced Scotty that she had to have new shoes. Cha ching. And then Kacy needed a swimsuit because she hadn't brought hers because of Aunt Flo. So there went that money cha ching. And don't ever forget to bring tampons unless you want to drive to the local store provided you can find it. Because I think I spent close to $5 for them at the Disneyland Hotel store. Oh yeah. And it is so much more expensive to eat when you stay onsite, when you stay offsite chances are you can find a cheap place to eat within walking distance.

yeah i hear you there. When you have to worry about paying for food and souvies it is so much more expensive. I just read some reviews on the disneyland dining plan and most were negative but I don't really care. I'd rather have it out of the way and paid for. If it doesn't pan out the way I want it then I will know for the next disneyland adventure (whenever that may be). Yeah I have heard that the tampons on site are very expensive. I would for sure bring them with me if I was going to expect AF on my trip. I hate trying to find suiteable ones while away from home. AF is uncomfortable enough w/o having to use ones that are foreign to your body. Yeah I was just reading about all the discounts you can get by eating off site too. I'll have to mull it over more and see how we want to do it. I saw that Adventures by disney is doing a disneyland tour now too and it looks very awesome but it'd be about a grand more than a regular trip there plus airfare. So that's a no go. Even though it looks really cool. Oh well. There's lots of options out there for us...it's just a matter of narrowing things down and figuring out what will be the best for us.

That's where the planning books come in handy. That and having a friend who knows the Disneyland stuff. There are ways to do this. I looked at the Disneyadventures one too and thought how much I would enjoy it but I think it is way over priced. You know if you are a Costco member there are a couple of nice little things that come with booking through them. Like a free character breakfast and that is about $60 saved there. Where there is a will there is a way and I am here and ready to help.:goodvibes And as far as Kacy and the AF thing she wasn't quite 14 years old at the time and was real embarasssed about it so I didn't know until we were down there. Poor thing.:guilty:

Wow, I can not believe I am first today. Normally I am the last one with the late hrs I keep:laughing:

What is everyone up to today?

I am taking Trent to the park in about an hr to meet up with my friend and her daughter.

It is gorgeous out:goodvibes

I hope you had a great time!!!! I am glad you are getting Trent to the park and that your BFF is going with you. Did Trent take BFF's DD's babydoll back to her? Glad you had such nice weather! It was hot here, really hot then we had a wicked thunderstorm but all is quiet now.

We went to Wally World and got some odds and ends that we needed as wel as a few ittle things for our trip.

hi sharky. sounds like you have a fun day planned. I'm watching House of Mouse on Toon Disney and waiting on Chris to get home with our lunch. Then I think we're going to go and see a movie and I'll do my best to talk Chris into taking me to Barns N Noble to get me the Disneyland UG. :thumbsup2

Carla, don't forget to look up my Beauty and the Beast Pin set in your catalog. You have my interest piqued and I'm dying to do kf it is worth anything or not.

I had such a nice time with you, Chris, Rebecca and James. I'm so glad I got to meet you in person and give you a big hug!

anyone heard from Cheri or Nikki yet today? I think they were supposed to both be going home today

I heard from Cheri, she didn't want to leave but then we already knew that!!! I didn't hear from Nikki today but did last night. It was just great getting to see Nikki again, getting to meet Carla, Cheri and Beana. Living right here is just awesome!
