Disign request, please.

I made these hairbows for my DD and was wondering if anyone has a disign with a bubble gum machine w/Minnie Ears or if someone will create one?

Oh Mel- I LOVE itI It will totally work. It will look perfect with the hairbows.

Also, how do I copy it? Everytime I try, and paste it in my document, the whole background is black and I can not see the ears. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Hon

When you click on the image and it takes you to Image shack --click again--then click again to get the full size,the black you are seeing just means its a png image which means the background is clear. Hope this makes sense.

right click on image--save as --to your computer--try opening it with windows paint.

Yes Hon that would be fine

I use the png when ever possible otherwise when people try to iron on a jpeg image there is a square white background behind the image

if using a white t-shirt it doesn't make alot of difference

Sorry for the highjack but you are mis-informed.

The way that a design appears on the tshirt has more to do with the iron on transfer itself than the design.

If you use that design with a light transfer than all white areas of the design (or any areas that lack color - including transparent) will be clear.

If you use a dark transfer, all white areas (or any areas that lack color) will be white. An image with the transparent background is good for placing on a background as in your sample but if you print it to a dark transfer. all transparent areas will also be white.

The easiest way to picture it is this: if you print the design to a white sheet of paper, how will it look? all areas that do not print a color will be just the white of the paper you are printing it on.

Did that explanation make sense? I do not mean to put my nose where it doesn't belong, but I would hate for you and the OP to think it would be clear and then find out otherwise (the hard way).

Yes, to both of your questions above.

Using a light transfer, the background and all white areas will be clear - so on a pink tshirt, both the background and the bubble gum glass would be pink.

The way we save the image does not change the way it acts on the transfer. Saving it as either a png or jpeg will still have the same results on the transfer paper.

The sheet is clear on a light transfer - so anything that does not "print - in color" will be clear.

The sheet on a dark transfer is white - so anything that does not "print - in color" will be white.

Sorry to be a pain Mel-- I am putting this on a white tshirt, is there anyway you can save it the other way? Everytime I copy and paste it in my program, it has a black background. I tried printing and it prints with the black background. Thanks for understanding!!
