Dish soap towelettes?

I read somewhere about getting a package of little individual towelettes of dishsoap to wash out the refillable mugs in your room. Has anyone bought something like this recently. I have looked at Walmart and my local grocery store chain - and I dont see anything even simular.
Thanks

It's been awhile since I bought them. I think they came from Walmart. It wasn't a little packet, though. More like a small plastic box with the pre-soaped towels folded and stacked. I took several out and put them in a ziploc for the Mouse. HTH.

I couldn't find them--maybe they are discontinued? Instead, I bought a pack of sponges and cut them in half, put liquid dish soap on them and let them 'dry,' and stored them in a ziploc baggie. They worked great and were just as disposable as the other, probably for cheaper.

Good luck!:cool1:

I like the sponge idea. Last August I took a small clear container and put the soap in and carried it with my laundry soap and stain remover ...I think tho this August I will take the sponge...not as baulky..

I have some of the towelettes and have some sponges too. I was running low on the towels and decided to make my own. I bought some Handi Wipes cloths and put quite a bit of soap and a little bit of water in the bottom of a bucket and soaked them. I then folded them in quarters, like a washcloth and laid them out to dry. It did take several days for them to dry, but they work great. When I made my sponges, I took one regular sized sponge and cut it into six squares and did basically the same thing. I put the sponges in those little toiletry containers that I can never figure out what to do with. Then I can carry one into the park in case I need to wash a souvenier cup or something.

Here's another cheap idea with stuff you already have on hand. Take a paper towel, fold it in half, put a few drops of dish soap on it, fold it again (quartered now) and place into a zip loc bag. When I'm ready to clean my refillable mug (which is what I use these for) I just need a little water and it works like a charm.

Thanks everyone. I think I will try the sponge idea. I cleaned out my linen closet yesterday and found a package of sponges I forgot I had.

i couldnt find them at walmart either! i did have a very small container though, like to put condiments in.. tupperware. i put some of our dish soap in it and then put it in a ziplock. good thing i put it in the ziplock because it did leak. did the job though. the hot water they had by the coffee for hot tea was SOOOO hot, that seemed to clean quite well.
